Read somewhere that daggers could be a potential free agent in the summer (especially if orient get relegated). How many would have him back? Personally I'd love to have him back if we could afford his wages, and another chance to link up with Hilly? Just the striker I think our squad needs. |

I guess he won't feature in Leicesters plans next season. However, how long is Lillis' contract as a club our size would not be able to afford both keepers wages (that is even if Logan is willing to take a pay cut to join us). |

I know its not end of the season yet but who would your top 3 players of the season be?? (excluding Done and JOC harsh I know). I'd go for: -
1. Henderson
2. Vincenti
3. Dawson.
Also which opposing player has impressed you the most?
I'd go for Victor Moses absolutely destroyed us in the FA cup. |

I'll probably get slated by some superstitious posters but what do you guys realistically think we'll get out of the next 5 games?
I think with JOC going back and Eastham returning from injury, 7 points out of 15. With wins against port vale,gillingham and a draw at Preston (we seem to be their bogey team). That would set us up nicely with 2 out of the next 3 being home crowds with hopefully larger attendances as we'd still be in with a shout of the play offs. Then a crucial, difficult away game to Barnsley! I'd definitely snap someone's hand off for 7 points and still having a shout with 3 games left. |

No worries, i guess with the current injury status of key starting eleven players the next few games will give them a platform to show us whether they are up to league 1 standard |

Quite a hard decision for Hilly IMO. Do you think Jones should be dropped? Could Tanser come back at his original position of CB? Who should partner Hendo?

Well maybe I have mis-understood the mood post oldham and this has probably been done to death on another thread but I also feel there is a flat atmosphere (Pearl st) at the moment, when I feel the whole place should be buzzing just like Spotland was in our Centenary year. As for Hill he has a thread bare squad and limited resources. The stadium saga has been drawn out (i know probably not the clubs fault), he gets the odd idiot behind him shouting needless abuse (which has hit a nerve in the past), and the ridiculous amount of jobs becoming available (could work in our favour due to his job security compared to everywhere else in the country). I hope not but all it takes is a knee jerk reaction for him to have had enough and to take up a less secure better paid job somewhere else. Who can honestly say they haven't made rash decisions in their life in the heat of the moment . |

Ah my bad, hopefully Hilly can get to work on these two during pre season and help them try and rediscover their lost potential like he has with many other players before! Does anyone know when Calvin Andrew is back? |

Neither have played to their potential yet. Am I right in thinking Brady was the striker playing for Man United XI against us in pre-season years ago and absolutely terrorising our back 4? |

Gosh looks what happens when you try and bring a sense of optimism to this forum. I am a bit worried what has been said about Hill (since we sold MD) and his tactics and mannerisms, lets be honest we haven't suffered too much since we sold him. If he reads this forum like we're led to believe there is a chance he'll up and leave at the next job opportunity and heaven forbid we end up with another Coleman type playing drab, undisciplined football in the bottom half of league 2. I understand your frustration D_Alien but isn't this forum about voicing my perspective. |

What a season we are having. One minor blip and reading this forum you'd think we were fighting for football league safety. Not one single person on this forum could do a better job than Keith Hill, so stop moaning about his tactics and signings. So what if RNL and brady haven't lived up to expectations... yet. How many miracle signings has Keith made in the past. As for todays performance everyone is liable to a bad day at the office. How many of you lot have had a day from hell. Lets push on and enjoy the rest of this season which is turning out to be one of the best in the clubs history.

His height also seems to be a great outlook for Lillis if we're unable to play it out from the back. Watching the Leeds game the amount of aerial battles he won was ridiculous and it started many attacks. He may not be the quickest but he delivers a great cross and is also handy at shooting. Wonder if we gave him a two year deal in the summer? |

What a signing Peter Vincenti has proved to be! Over the last few months he's been consistently performing to a high standard for dale and scoring some crucial goals! Wasn't entirely convinced at the beginning of the season but a few months under hilly and he's become integral to this team! |
