Local swimming pool close to me being closed down , too much money to save it and an unnecessary burden to the local tax payer , both my youngsters grown up now learned to swim there , a life saver if needed in an emergency .
Never mind NPTC have allowed a McDonalds to be built alongside the local Comprehensive School , walking distance at lunchtime for the children . |

Looks like Labour have knocked a nail into their own coffin again .
Two MPs in the Greater Manchester area , and a spouce , members Gwynne and Ryan suspended because they cannot be trusted to be intelligent , thought that was one of the first lines on a CV and electorial pamphlet .
They must have missed that requirement to stand as a Politician .
How dull are these people , everthing on social media is available to the right people who have access to silly statements .
A newspaper can put any journalist into a conversation albiet as a friend .

WRU want to get shot of another region , Scarlets or Ospreys maybe .
No mention of the Blues as another option for the boot .
So dependant on the daffodill wearing women and beer sales to make a profit to finance a Nations National team .
Sad fact is Wales cannot anymore play at the top leagues , players are giving their all but maybe just not good enough .
England select from Exeter to Newcastle and all points inbetween , we do not have that option , cannot even go to Gog Land , no teams there and cannot select players without the necessary Caps ruling .
Two thousand watching The Ospreys at The Liberty , 16/17 thousand watching Gloucester .

Do players want to move to the Swansea area or commute daily , leaving their families .
Seems some WAGs and other factors influence a footballer staying near close to London , Manchester and other big Cities with their pulling power , ie wages and shopping .
We can offer potential signings of the views in The Gower or a flat in the Marina .
Not enough it seems to attract them here .
If we aint got the money to get and pay good assets we cannot compete with the big boys . |

EFL crushed the idea of Welsh teams leaving and knocked the FAW back , good on them .
Leaving the English Leauge system however much we take the pee out of them across The Severn Bridge is a real backward step .
Maybe we should follow the Scottish FA model , an internal competition who wins there.
Rangers or Celtic , any other takers maybe .

Nights games at The Vetch on Tuesday night , floodlights and a passionate crowd on the North Bank , that was Swansea City as I would like to remember us .
Local Chairmen who cared about SCFC albiet with other motives , not going there though.
Times move on I know , advertising rights and broadcasting contracts run football now .
In return wages demands are so unreasonable for average players , but they pay them .
Ospreys Rugby cannot afford the Liberty anymore , about 2k attendance for a televised
fixture recently .
Lets not lose local our heritage and history as a great sporting area to outsiders .

Welsh Assembley cannot run a bath let alone run a necessary got to have commodity .

Was struggling to get tickets for Hollywood Vamps gig at Swansea Arena few years back and had a PM saying he had 2 tickets available , face value if needed , late cancellation I believe .
Only needed the one ticket but thanked him for his offer .
Got a ticket in the end though , place was a sell out too . |

Somebody in another Company offered me a vast increase in wages for doing the same job as doing now , where do I sign , agents pushing for commision too .

Traffic builds up ouside my place in the morning , traffic lights and the school run added to working commuters in the hold ups .
Every other driver I witness has a phone lodged on the steering wheel or on their laps and texting away .
Crawling traffic , a sharp brake light in front and it is a rear end shunt , hopefully minimal damage but shock value .
Most of these drivers are taking their children to School .
What message does that send out to the kids , my mum drives whilst playing with her phone
So that is OK then . |

Myself I enjoy the proramme , disengage the brain for a hour and take it as a laugh .
