Yes, Frey MOM for me. Scored, close to another, pulled their defence around making space, was both a link man spreading the ball about from midfield and hold up/target man up front. Tired a bit 2nd half but he had an excellent game. Chair ,getting better, Morgan, Field, Nardi and Dunne all had pretty good games.

The camera zoomed in on Managers, Directors, players, ex football players, even Sinton and his mates faces way too much, like while the actual football game was going on unseen off camera.

Best our Cup semi-final win over WBA at Highbury 1982. Worst relegation 1979.

I'm hoping Dunne is fit after that shoulder problem he had last time out. Couldn't see him in some photos of Friday's training.

best london derby qpr you've seen.....home and away.
at 12:11 4 Jan 2025

Remember that one well. The kicking I got was worse for each goal we scored. We played them off the park and their crowd got very aggy. But the best Derby I've been at for atmosphere was when we beat the Scum 1-0 back in the PL with Colin. I had my sons with me in the upper Loft, was hoarse for days, their regular corner taker got scared off taking them. Helgesen was King not Drogba.

I read somewhere that Mahoney (now Cooper) maybe recalled from his loan at Stevanage where apparently he's made 22 appearances. If true Walsh could be off on loan or perhaps sold.

We've been playing 2 right footers in Cook and Morrison at CB successfully so in theory 2 left footers shouldn't be such a big problem but it was. Depends who has the right or left peg I reckon. I think playing Field and JCS if fit enough at CB maybe our best option, Field has done well there, Dunne not so well. Keep Dunne at RB, Paal or Ashby at LB, and Morgan into the midfield alongside Varane, unless Colback is ready to start which he probably isn't.
We were terrible yesterday not just in central defence. I thought Swansea were very good and we couldn't get the ball off them. When we did we just gave it back again. Whole team looked well off their game, improved a bit by the 3 subs start of the 2nd half.

Cook?
at 02:24 25 Dec 2024

I got planta fascit playing football on a rock hard pitch in Greece, banking my foot down too hard. Had to wear a special protective insert for a year or so after it happened. If Cook has this I'd expect him to be out a long time .

I saw some of that 2nd half today where Saints were already 0-5 down. What I saw they were passing it long. Perhaps it was just to late, or his bosses didn't care what sort of football he had them playing as long as they won enough to stay up and they didn't.

Andersen has only just turned 30. I can't believe his legs have "gone". I saw them in the right place yesterday, though not performing like last season. He's lost form maybe still fitness compared to last season, no idea why but hopefully he can recover it. I thought he looked sharper in his recent sub appearances but not yesterday.

Wow Smyth 1st of the season from 40 or 50 meters. Assist? From their Keeper.
