What a strange chap he is. He really does believe the bollox he spouts.
YouTube just suggested that I should watch this video ..... I thought it was a new one but is a few years old. My mouth was on the floor listening to it .... incredible stuff.
To the people saying they're worried about what will happen to us now that he's not there to represent as a true fan in the boardroom ...
He had no power anyway, that's why he left. We were fuçked with him there and we're fuçked without him there .... we're basically fuçked because of our American hedge fund owners. And he's the fuçker who brought them in.
The same ref gave the worst performance I've ever seen in 40 years of watching the Swans back in 2009. He hasn't improved much.
The worst thing about today was the time wasting. You can't blame Wigan for doing it but you can blame the officials for letting them. 18,000 fans haven't turned up on a wet December day to watch a goalkeeper holding a football.
Truly one of the most disgraceful things this cretin has ever said.
He pats himself on the back first (of course) and then goes on to blame fans, basically saying what a horrible bunch we are for not supporting a charity, when the truth of the matter is that times are hard (for us non-millionaires) and the ever decreasing prize became less and less attractive.
He's seen half a dozen people on social media saying they won't spend any money at the ground and he's gone for the throats of the entire Swansea City fanbase. This is our Vice Chairman!!!!!
Meanwhile, while he's slating fans for our behaviour and we're struggling to afford a friggin' quid to spend on a flyer that we've got no chance of winning, he's sitting on a couple of million quid that he got his dirty mitts on by sending us up the river!
Ricky Gervais should make a comedy series out of our football club and Dineen would be the 'David Brent' character. It would be hilarious and nobody would ever believe it was based on true events because you couldn't make this shizzle up. What at absolute disgrace of a man and a complete PR disaster. He needs to shut his fecking mouth.
I agree with what you wrote in your opening post - but completely disagree with the title you've given it. We need people with alternative ideas to join in with the same conversations to get a deeper discussion on matters .... I agree.
We need people like The Res and E20 ..... I totally disagree.
In the case of The Res, we don't just have someone joining in discussions and giving a civilised alternative view, we have an odious, aggressive, narrow-minded, foul-mouthed idiot - arguing and shouting expletives at anyone who thinks differently to himself (including females), being thoroughly unpleasant and disrespectful to people who deserve so much better, and is obviously completely and utterly incapable of discussing anything in a sensible, considered, adult way. A truly vile poster this forum would be better without. How he isn't banned already is an absolute mystery to me - so to suggest we need people like him is a ridiculous thing to say. Your argument would have been a decent one without using that particular example.
Well ... in the case of the Dineen's, the family joins in on social media to goad all the fans and rub their faces in it .... so fair point ... unless it's a Dineen
- Sending messages to random fans that accuse a player of lying - Sending messages to random fans that imply somebody more senior than him is incompetent - Trying to take full credit for deals that would have happened with or without him - Justifying his existence by saying he worked some of his 16 years service for no pay (as if the several million pounds when he did get paid wasn't quite enough) - Trying to take credit for abysmal performance in his role, which Huw Jenkins himself conceded was a tragically under-performing Commercial Department - Justifying his own and HJ's abysmal performance by saying there's nobody better because they 'know the club' - Putting us in this whole position in the first place by selling our club to a bunch of clowns who told us they had the financial resources to take us to the next level - where the polar opposite is actually happening both financially and in terms of being at the next level
This man should be run out of town. An absolute disgrace of the highest order. Our club truly is a complete and utter basket case - you couldn't make it up. Dineen and Jenkins are the two most deluded people I think I've ever known of. Sucking our club dry - while we continue to let it happen. Everyone, especially them, needs to wake the f*** up.
Hello! Thanks for coming and being a gentleman - it's good to talk to supporters of other clubs in a civilised fashion.
New signings: After 7 years in the Premier League it's a breath of fresh air to be signing young, hungry players again rather than primadonna's who pick up their 50 grand a week wherever they can and don't give a fudge about the club they're at. I love the look of Bersant Celina - he's my new favourite player and we've brought in a couple of talented young wingers. That said, we haven't signed enough players considering how many have left, nor have we signed the odd experienced campaigner to bring some experience and metal to the team. Our midfield in particular is looking lightweight at the moment. We're hoping the loan market will help sort this out but we're not holding our breath due to the previous comments you will have seen about our owners and board, whom we all hate with a passion.
New manager: You'll likely only see positive responses on this question and it's no different from me. He seems a great fit and has got us results in the league so far, including points we can't honestly say we've deserved. With our wafer-thin squad and the challenges of a busy and physical Championship I predict a run of games at some point where we struggle for results but we need to stick with this guy through thick and thin for a while and give him a proper crack at it.
How you have started the season: Couldn't ask for more in terms of points. Happy with our new signings generally, but need more reinforcements. Off the field is a shambles and a nightmare you almost wouldn't believe if we had time to give you the full story. Our last performance against Birmingham is a worry for me - we were truly diabolical and we'll need to improve 1000% to get a result on Tuesday.
How you think the season will go for you: Could depend on the loan market. With excellent loans we may just push for a play-off place. Without, we'll struggle, so mid table would be best case scenario. My worry is that if and when this period of poor results does come for us, this team is so young, so thin and our crowd are so fed up and hostile towards the owners that it could all turn very sour for us and we could capitulate at some point.
How you see the match on Tuesday going?: I think Leeds will win. I would enthusiastically accept a draw right now if it were offered to me - but they do say in the Championship every game can go any one of 3 ways, so who really knows?!
I believe so. As a consultant. But what on earth would anyone want to consult him for .... absolutely nothing. Jobs for the boys - must have been part of the takeover deal - there's absolutely zero other explanation.
Shocked by the atmosphere (or lack thereof). First game back in the Premier League, beatable opponents, not losing .... still absolutely nothing!! Shocking. Ours was better last season and that really is saying something.
