Ivor. Even if you never saw him play there is a statue for a reason. 445 appearances 164 goals that is a goal every 2.7 games. I never saw a great deal of Pele but I would still pick him in añ all time Brazilian team and/or world team. Ivor also did it at the top with Newcastle and was top Welsh scorer until Rush. | Forum Reply | Cooper the coach doesn't improve players. at 13:06 9 Feb 2020
Half a season is enough to see if a coach makes an impact on player performance and progression. I can't name one player in the first team that I have seen this year where that is the case. Am I missing something or can any of you point out a player who has developed during Cooper's tenure? |

| Forum Reply | Do we WANT Premier League football???? at 01:33 3 Sep 2019
I wrote this comment on 5th July 2017: I was in Cardiff today at a conference and had to sit with a bunch of local noises. The conversation was about Cardiff and how the lack of a club in the Prem was hampering raising the profile of the city. They were listing the advantages they had over the Swans of a bigger ground, larger fan base and a more populous hinterland. Plus Cardiff is the capital city and is more prosperous and a bigger economic hub. Eventually I was asked where I was from and I was able to say the home of the only Premier club in Wales and I have a season ticket. I was described as lucky and my parentage doubted. If we go up and leave the Scummers behind that will be great. We get fook all in Swansea, if we get our place back in the Prem every MOTD, Sky Sports broadcast, BT footy show, Radio 5 Live and even TalkfockingSport is one in the eye for Das Kapital, BBCland. Wales Online and most of all Jason M the King of Snide. |

What we need to be is a mini Southampton in terms of academy. All clubs apart from a few in the world are selling clubs. Aberhugh has made some excellent points. |

How are you qualified ti decide on the validity if a thread when you display such sexist imagery next to your user name? People in glasshouses. |

You need to read the posts. This exchange started as Jango was rude towards Aberhugh. He sais he did not have a clue about football. By all means disagree but how can ho presume any knowledge of another's grasp of the game? I am not the only one who has picked up on this, again refer to the other posts. I withdraw and apologise for my reference to a gnat. However, people should be able to post their views without withering comments about their competence to do so. From previous posts I note that Aberhugh has watched the Swans for 45 years so he has probably garnered a modicum of football expertise. |
