Pretty much the same thing was said of Grimes about 4 or 5 years back. There is quality in Dhanda, he just needs to be given opportunity and time in the right system not Cooperball.

Actual scenario — female protester walking quickly past diners, MP sees her as she’s almost past his seat he pushes her arm quickly and stands up, she tries to get past, he pushes her again, she tries to get past, he puts his hand on her shoulder and pushes turning her towards the exit. She tries to turn back, he puts his hand on the back of her neck and pushes her towards the door to eject from private property. Throughout the MP is forceful and because he is using physical force against another person you could say this is assault but at no time does there seem to be any intention to hurt the protester, merely an intention to prevent access to Hammond. The protesters unannounced, unknown and rapid beeline for Hammond carried the threat of violence at least at the same level as that used by the MP. The Protestor was carrying some type of clutch bag, no one other than the protestors would’ve known whether there was any additional threat. Was she going to milk shake him? MP didn’t know but he may have sensed a potential confrontation about to occur and he intervened. He appears to try several times to make the woman desist before resorting to more force when he grabbed her neck.
Are we to say that women in red dresses and lipstick should be subject to different rules? Do we now desist in equality? Women have been wearing the marines green beret since 2002.
Alternative scenario — As above but read, Female MP prevents male protestor from exhorting potential attack whilst apprehending the potential assailant. How do we all view the events then? Well done lady? That would surely be the reaction of the majority.
I have a 16 year old daughter whom I would support if she chose to protest. However, she would be absolutely clear in her understanding that should she choose to trespass a private property then she should expect to be confronted with suitable force aimed at her removal. At which point, I would be bitterly disappointed if she couldn’t handle herself and dispatch her own suitable measure of self-defence. From that perspective, had the protestor dispatched suitable force on Mark Field, she would’ve had my utmost respect, purely as a result of my distain for the current crop of politicians.
Is it right for a man to man handle a woman? That question shouldn’t even be asked, it shouldn’t be any different to the force exerted on man or woman, otherwise, the call for equality is undermined. The real issue is whether there could’ve been any imminent threat? - yes
Is it right for a woman to appear threatening to a group of politicians? No but neither is it for men
Is it right for politicians to create situations which provoke eco protest? Certainly not.

Yes, they played crap against Hull, but still won. That breeds confidence (winning playing badly) and 2 wins and 1 Draw is an upward curve in my book. Christ it'd be great to think we were on a similar run of results.
I really hope BB can turn it round but he hasn't got to the tools whether that's his ability or player wise or even both.

I predict Bob will be out the door by 6pm.
Why? I fear West Ham are going to give us an absolute hiding, could be a: 0 - 6.
The hammers have greater depth of quality and have been on an upward curve since the Liverpool result, which has clearly given them confidence and we are there for the taking. On top of that Ayew has returned and he's guaranteed to put a couple past us.
We've put in a decent home performance of late, but United and Palace outings only confirm that it's only a matter of time before our brittle defence really folds.
Getting rid of Bob may not fit the business model, but there is only so much personal ridicule J & K will take before admitting a mistake.

Anyone hear Taylor yesterday ?

Agree.
He looks lazy when starting but as a sub when the game is already stretched and tiring, he's in his element.

Some balance and calm ... ?
at 14:39 11 Dec 2016

Calm down, that is how I read it!
OP isn't giving credit to AC just that BB will get more from considering everyone of the coaching team. And I agree with you, I also think the coaching staff work as a team and that is how it should be.
You and OP make valid points, come on lads, stick together.

Jay Fulton can save our season
at 19:34 10 Dec 2016

Fulton is class, he has composure and grit. Britton was superb as was Gilfi.
But many on here would have you believe before the game that the whole midfield are crap and those same posters won't be happy until we spend £20m on a player.

There is NO WAY that any manager, Klopp, Guardiola included, etc are not influenced by and considers their coaching teams opinion. And that is how it should be. The coaching team working together seeing different aspects of training and a game that ultimately influences the next games lineup and way of playing.
When they win the whole coaching team, manager and all are rewarded, but when they lose they are all culpable.

What a boost.
at 16:57 10 Dec 2016

Definitely. A whole lot better performance, I actually saw us passing in triangles again with some penetration.
If Rangel is considered to play then he has to start as he is just too old and gash to come on a sub.

Considering the lack of confidence that there's bound to be, they are doing alright in that first half.
Admittedly, Routledge cross was crap but he took to must time to think about it.
Dampen down your expectation, you'll enjoy it more.

So you all know the team now....
at 14:23 10 Dec 2016

Apart from Rangel for Naughton, that is exactly he side I wanted to see.
Amat and Mawson not played together before but both appear to be our most consistent and less error prone than FF or VDH.
Leon will set the tempo and Fulton is supposedly the hardest tackler in the squad.
They all appear to be players that will put a shift in unlike Fer or Montero.
I hope to see McBurnie at the expense of Routledge at some stage.
This side might just happen to work today!!
