Also their players blocking us at their corners. They were brilliant at it, but they were all fouls. Mind you, I thought they should have had a peno late on when Edwards wrestled one of theirs to the ground as he poked a shot wide. |

1 game in 10 days. Then the cup game. Then three games in 20 days. Bang-middle of the table. No African Cup of Nations. If we don't field our best available eleven now we may as well put a sign up outside HQ saying. "QPR - No Interest Whatsoever in Winning Competitions" |

Agree with all of that, except for the comment on him being an instinctive finisher. I haven't seen enough to judge on that one. Hope you're right! And not sure he was unfortunate. He shot twice, and missed twice. Overall, though, I thought he did well. |

I love that line. It completely does away with the notion of luck, or at least the idea of using it as an excuse. |

At least he didn't go with Fox's post-match interview cliché: "you make your own luck". You don't. It's why they call it luck. |

Thanks a million for posting that, Stevenage. Lovely read, lovely lad. |

It was actually the other chance I meant, on the left edge of our box, where we wanted a free, but he'd already lost the ball. But that's something he can improve on. |

Ya, that was a 50/50 call for me. |

Yes, I think so. You? |

Agreed. Thought he was excellent. I usually pick a Top 3 R's for every game. He's nearly always in it, and he was again tonight. |

Hmmm.... Not sure he is good with his feet. Miscontrolled another one tonight. He's clearly a lovely lad, though, and I'm very happy for him. But I'd imagine - to use a commentator's cliché - he'll be disappointed he didn't score tonight. |
