I went on the board as I was bored and wanted to see what their fans thought about the upcoming game.

Anyway, I will be very surprised if we don't go to Burnley and lose by at least 2 goals.
Yes we are second in the league and yes we are unbeaten, however it still does concern me that all but two of the teams we've played are in the bottom half and apart from Boro, I wouldn't say we have 'confidently' beaten anyone this season.
Simpson possibly missing Saturday is also a concern, especially with Onuoha out as well. Not sure which thread it was, but agree with us trying this Chevanton alongside Austin, hopefully take a bit of pressure off him.
As for the title-rivals suggestion. There's 5 or 6 teams that could easily have a good bit of form and be up there come the end of the season. |

My view is by all means go on the Burnley board and there may be some interesting views/insight that is worth sharing and will stimulate discussion on this Board.

Let them enjoy being at the top, they've done superbly well and deserve it. We are a target as we have spent money, we have to expect it and the club needs to rise to the challenge. It wouldn't surprise me to see us lose but I'd expect to overhaul them in the long run although there are some strong sides in the play-offs so I don't see anyone running away with it.
It will be interesting to see how Burnley handle this type of game as I'd hope our players to thrive on it. Our defence is a concern even though we've only conceded 4 all season but our attacking threat needs to click and the likes of Hoilett/Krancjar/Phillips/Austin need to have a big impact for us to win. Expect Henry/Barton to anchor midfield similar to Leeds/Bolton games. |  | | |

If we were in their position we'd all be saying exactly the same in fairness. I think the thing is we have an annoying (to most) level of celebrity at the club with Harry and Joey always in the news (as well as the likes of BAE and Kranjcar) and that sets us apart from your Readings and Wigans who have also spent a pretty penny this summer.
To call us arrogant is unfair I think, but certainly it's not the same vibe as when we were leading the Championship in our promotion season now is it?
Saturday aside, good luck to Burnley anyway. If we have to come second to anyone this season I sincerely hope it's them. |  | | |

Surprising the lack of knowledge about how few of our players this season were playing last season. Disappointing really, but that is clearly the perception. Had a chat with a Burnley fan earlier. Mentioned Kranjar, Austen, Hoillet, Simpson, Okottoa, Dunne, Hill and Onouha.
He rolled his eyes and said "those are all prem players". Typical reaction, I suppose from a team with limited funds who are punching well beyond their weight.
He did say Vokes and Ings have scored more that 20 between them already this season.

Just to clear this one up for you lot:
That thread on CM is a parody of a thread made by QPR fans on wearetherangersboys.com.
We are under no illusions as to who has the better chance of winning the league, so please don't take that thread seriously.
The situation was that we noticed a forum thread that was incredibly dismissive of us (and also really quite discriminatory), so we thought we'd have a bit of fun with it - nothing more.
Plus we do enjoy having a dig at 'richer' clubs. We literally have spent nothing this season. Lost Austin and paid no money at all for anybody. Its all just good fun
Oh and StanisGod, don't worry about out pitch, it is glorious. We spent all our prem money on it and now it looks like God himself tends it. In all seriousness, it is a very nice pitch. By the end of last season, the only worn part was where the linesmen run up and down the line. Think it is one of those 'woven in fibres' jobs. Either way we apparently spent nearly a million on it. The pitch is now a Desso GrassMaster surface (same as the Emirates amongst others) and our groundsman has been nominated for Groundsman of the Year for the last two seasons. There is a valid argument that the pitch is superior to the one at Loftus Rd.
Back to the topic in question, those comments on the ClaretsMad board were made after comments made by QPR fans on 'WearetheRangersBoys'.
