AJ to palace 21:29 - Sep 2 with 15679 viewssdm1508

I know it's only twitter but a number of journalists on there now saying he could be heading back to Palace. Can't believe this. We don't have enough strikers as it is and he has started well. Wonder if we have a replacement lined up??

I'm not sure how we can let him go as we have no real options up front, but if we've been offered a fee and his wages off the books I can see why the club would consider it - he's never more than 2 minutes away from a big injury.

Good player but he's an injury waiting to happen, they're getting desperate aren't they Palace, remind you of anyone? He won't be going without a replacement lined up anyway.

It Is What It Is !!

We might be hoping to bring strikers in on loan, when the emergency window opens in about a weeks time

Palace chairman just on BBC said that he has put in a bid for AJ (Perm deal).

Heard that as well. He also said QPR are yet to respond.

Been one of our best players this season. Be stupid to let him go without a couple of strikers inbound.

AJ stated that we stood by him last year so he will stand by us...is he a man of his word ?

Not up to AJ. If we don't want to sell we don't have to - and we won't unless we have somebody else coming in which looks unlikely. Palace are looking increasingly desperate.

Agree, will play a full season for them now and score twenty goals no doubt.

It must be tempting for the club to get AJ's wages off the books, but, for a side that is struggling to score goals and whose only other senior option is a virtual cripple, I don't see how we could afford (football not financial sense) to accept any bid. There's no way we'd get in a suitable replacement in the next 45 minutes.

Shame as he's finally gotten half useful. Still, if Palace are daft enough to pay us for him, they can have him.

What a stupidity if this is going to happen.
To sell an on fire striker is not the way to go.
Putting our title shot in real danger.

Leaving us with only one real striker cause Zamora i don't count as a striker at the moment.
