Too early to tell yet really, but took his goal well and that's what we need.

He is going to be the next big thing in the prem leg
Ice in his veins...he made space and just passed the ball in to the corner of the net against a very good back four.....he is going to bag 20 plus easily

Every day I thank the good Lord for the blessings he gives me. Every new day gives me a new opportunity to laugh at the red chumps up the road.

Don't think he's anything like 100% match sharp yet either. He missed a chunk of pre-season with us too.

Injury permitting, he'll get 20 goals. No doubt.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Agreed. 20-30 goals for Bony plus 20 from Michu.

He cant do it on his own and we shouldnt expect him too.
Give him a chance and he ll bury it.
We need to work on that as this boy is a match winner no question

Brilliant finish, looks like a tank
Shocking header from 5 yards though

Be over there now after

I'd have preferred to see him play the first 45 than the second.

Took his goal really well, though, and some decent link-up play so the signs are promising.

Not the quickest, not the best of touches, but the guy is a goalscorer and that's his job. £12 million....if he scores 15 -20 goals then yes. Looks like the first natural finisher we've had since JS10.

Oh,..Dave, what's occuring?

Needs to sharpen up his control and get to the speed of the PL which will take a little while, but that finish was as cool as I've seen. When he and Pabs came on, we suddenly looked a million times more threatening. Promising.

Think his first touch is better than what we saw yesterday. He looked a bit rusty to me

I liked in when Evra(?) bounced off him :)

His touch was good enough to rival that of Adrian Forbes yesterday. He can leap like a salmon too. Looked like he'd just got off the plane from a Trans-Atlantic flight.

Will score lots of goals.

"Michu, Britton and Williams could have won 3-0 on their own. They wouldn't have required a keeper."

This

Bony has goals and importantly seems to have good ability and unselfishness in set up play for others to score.
