When you think about it, Harry's done pretty well with Crouch:
Portsmouth - bought him for £1.5 and he was sold to Villa for £5m
Southampton - bought him for £2.5m and sold him to Liverpool for £7m
Portsmouth - bought him for £11m and bought him on to Spurs for £10m

I think this would be a terrible idea. Mackie is just the sort of player we need at the moment, and although I'd love to see Crouch in hoops again, it's not at the expense of Mackie.
