Right, John Coleman............lets see how tough you really are !! 07:57 - Mar 25 with 3978 viewsTalkingSutty

The manager must be shellshocked by what he is witnessing at this club. I suppose he has to keep backing the players in public because they are the cards he has been dealt by the previous manager (Eyre).

Until relegation is sealed he has to massage a few egos and continue to try to coax a run of performances out of the players at his disposal, its a situation which if he did have any hair (he hasnt) he would have pulled it out over the last couple of months.

Prediction time, once relegation is sealed we string two or three wins together. All of a sudden some of them start to up their work rate and enthusiasm in an attempt to be retained by the club, it wouldnt surprise me.

Once the season finishes i want to see the real John Coleman, he looks a tough cookie but is he really a sheep in wolfs clothing ? I want to see the biggest clear out since Cyril Smith had that dodgy curry from the Omar Kayam. I want him to be bloody ruthless with this lot and get rid !!

John Colemans managerial reign starts once our fate as been sealed, thats when i will start to judge him. The players he recruits will be a reflection on himself, no big time Charlies or sulky petulant spoil brats. A team full of John Bowdens would be ideal, sadly they are few and far between these days !!

Its not a exaggeration to say that a lot of the performances (Tranmere first half) have left me feeling physically sick this season and how those that travelled down to London yesterday are coping god only knows. No fight, no bottle, if it was a horse it would be put down in order to aleviate any more suffering !!

Why is JC escapng critcism her he has chosen to play Jordan over Widds the last few games that is criminal, as is leaving our leading scorer out of the squad.

Is a strange choice that, must'nt have impressed int week or took a knock?

Maybe Widds has made it clear he will be leaving at end of season, wouldnt be surprised if he wanted to head back south ?
If JC has dropped Widds because he prefers Jordan the we have another Errrr on our hands.

Dead right - Jordan over Widds and no Grimes is inexcusable. And two ineffective loanees coming on second half ahead of Adams was puzzling. Adams may have his critics but he's had good games this season.

Id be seriously gutted if we lost Widds, cracking player, one of the shining lights this season. If he could get afew goals he'd be playing higher up. I feel if we get relagated he'll be sounded out by a league one club at the very least.

At times I thought Jordan was OK at centre half but its clear he can't play left back purely due to his lack of pace.

We have a 20 goal a season striker.

Where? We haven't had a 20 goal striker since both O'Grady and Dagnall in 09/10.

Last season our top two goal scorers were a penalty taking captain and a centre half - our top striker (O'Grady) scored 9 league goals. In truth we never replaced Chris Dagnall.

Grimes and JLAA are not the answer - neither have either the proven strike rate nor cover the level of League games you could expect for players of their respective ages and don't have the firepower to get us out of League 2.

George Bernard Shaw had it right: "He who can does; he who cannot, teaches." https://www.visittheusa.co.uk/
Poll: EGM - which way are you voting?

In League Two, used the right way, Grimes could definitely score 20 goals a season.

So could we see our front line next season be any two from, Grimes,JLAA, Symes(if he signs).
Also if widdowsons contract is up in the summer get him signed back on for another two yrs..

Whatever happens JC as a major squad rebuilding to do....

I have more faith in JC than Eyre any day.....

A first team squad of 21 and add some decent loannees and i cant see why dale should not be in the top 7 come next season..

My all time favourite Dale player Mr Lyndon Symmonds
