I got mine done at Middleton Tattoo Studio by Louis Malloy. Soon after, the likes of Beckham and Ince started going there and he became famous. He is good though.
Amongst the tattooing fraternity however, one of the most highly rated is Rob Ratcliffe of Border Rose Tattoo in Littleborough. They say he has a waiting list approaching 3 months though. Proof positive. It's on the right on the main road just before you reach the big smoke!(Littleborough).
Be careful where you go as cover ups can be expensive. And it doesn't hurt that much unless you have it on a very fleshy part. For a Dale crest, I'd imagine you'd be looking at £80 - £100 by the way.

Yeah i've heard that Rob at Littleboough is good but he has a long waiting list. My husband has had a few Dale tatoo's done at 21 century in Castleton by a guy called Mark and he did a good job of them. I've also had two tattoo's done there i would definetly reccomend him |  | | |

I've got around a 1/3 of my body covered by Rob, only behind my knees has really hurt, all other places are a doddle, i've even fallen asleep 3 or 4 times.
£70 - £80 an hour tho, but you get what you pay for... QUALITY...

I had a picture of Winston Churchill tattooed on my back, but it now looks like Marvin Gaye.
