Our player sadly stayed on his feet. It would have been a pen and a red card.

In this game you really, really niggle the two have been booked and get them into a scuffle. You make the most of any foul against you and chip away at the weak ref. Lukewarm should be going nuts on the line to fire up the team. It's simple really put the weak ref under pressure [Post edited 21 Jan 21:24]

Absolutely bang on the money This game shows how utterly shameful is Williams . I actually feel sorry for the players ,a little . He is destroying them. Wilder is just the sort of manager we need ,not the effete clowns like Martin and Williams Another kick in the teeth for a disappearaing crowd

I do feel sorry him because we have been shafted by the ref. However, he is on borrowed time after recent results. 21st of Jan and still no signings.

We need to be better at the ' dark arts '. On Saturday Chambers was taking all sorts of advantage, I reckon I could have got him sent off in the first half.

It’s because they have a manager Feck e,I keep going on about this We need an old sweat Yeah,Wilder is anti football but he gets results and results right now are not the ones we want We played less worse and we have too many passengers and kamikaze jockeys I’ve not seen a worse full back than Key in years This ref, have to say,was sinister .

It's not irrespective of the ref though. He sh1t out of a def pen and red card in the first half, plus maybe a 2nd pen. Then gave a dodgy red, and again sh1te out of 2 / 2nd yellows in the 2nd half!! Yes we let them in for the first goal and stupid pen, but it's almost impossible to play against 12 men for 96 mins.

Nothing has changed then . As. Clueless fan ,my priority would be 1. To somehow off load Brimes to someone . He’s key to it all 2. Sell/ loan/ dump Key . He has been a walking disaster for tgree months . He’s been lucky until tonight . 3. Williams is neither coach nor manager Keeping him will cost us more than it would to sack him. Fans have fxxxxoff fast and it’s easy to see why . Sheff Utd were an affront . That said,a referee of some credibility would have sent at least two off . They were clever though and looking at them and their changes ,LUKEY, it was obvious what was going to happen early in second half.. Darlong can bugger off too. Thought he’d grown up .

I tell you what, the footballing Gods are totally against us at the moment. That shower were being battered in the first half and as soon as I turned on near the end of the first half they score against the run of play in added time. I KNEW they were going to equalise. Not think, but knew!!! 90+7 FFS. I’ve never known a luckier side in football, really I haven’t. Not Saturday mind you, they deserved that one.

Yeah. A better performance overall, although that wasn't difficult given the shite we've witnessed recently. First half was most things that people have been begging Williams to do for months: More tempo to our play, less faffing around with the ball for the sake of it, Grimes actually spending time in midfield. Sadly for the second half Sheff Utd came out like they'd had a rocket up their arses and we came out like the half time Lucozade had been spiked with Tramadol. I'd love to know what he says to them. Familar story after that, although pleasing to see how hard most of them battled as the half wore on.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

The sad thing is, we know Wilder we know what the reaction would be after half time. The trouble is I don't think Lukewarm knows what to do if he works out what the other team are likely to do. [Post edited 21 Jan 22:41]

What annoys me is that Ronald can get across the winger or attacking fullback and get the ball out of play and yet the likes of Key and Tymon drop back off the wingers supposedly waiting for support to arrive but there are times when our full backs need to make sure they get between the winger and the ball instead òf getting pushed back, how many goals have come from those wide positions, you might want to take into account the number of blocks needed to protect the goals as well. With 11 men and the way we played we might have gained the lead again but you can bet money on us conceding because their wingers are given a free pass to run at our defence, both Key and Tymon do it, so I think it is what they are told to do. Funny how when we are needing to press up the wingers do seem to close down better or is it a case of the wingers then try pushing the ball passed the fullbacks and our centre halves cover properly when in position.
Swansea City v Sheffield Utd: Match day thread on 22:52 - Jan 21 with 606 views | RichardO | Bianchini and Pearl-Harris putting themselves about under the high ball meaning the midfield could come onto the ball real shame we couldn't take advantage of the forward momentum we created tonight.Amazing what happens when you play the game on the front foot instead of waiting for things to happen because if you wait too long it happens to us.
