Shrewsbury need to give him time. They will probably get relegated either way in a very strong L1 with a lot of "moneybags" clubs, but as a similar sized club to Wycombe, they are completely in GA's wheelhouse to rebuild from the foundations up if they stick with him for the long haul.

Wild Thang played the Syndecombe on Shepherds Bush Green last Friday night. For a laugh I was gonna go but it clashed with Paul Weller at the Hammersmith Odeon (or whatever’s it called these days). Weller was on top form … naturally. Mate’s who went to see Gareth’s band say the guitar was great and at one point Gaz ripped his shirt off (Bucks Fizz style) to reveal his ripped tattooed torso barely covered by a white vest. Best of luck to him. Have to be honest and say I held him in such high esteem before he became manger at QPR but now I'm not sure. I expected more honesty and less David Brent style BS from him. A lot of the squad he inherited here felt above this and their arrogance that they deserved a higher level of manager seemed Ainsworth was doomed here at that point.
Guy I know where I live, said to me, he is such a nice bloke and he really hoped he could do well at Rangers. Am pleased for him, he has another football job. Hope it works out for him.
