I agree but then I also think his positional mis-management has destroyed any confidence he may have had.

Peart - Harris on 09:35 - Nov 25 by Whiterockin | I have no issues if we go for a win. Dammed if we do dammed if we don't, we were opening Leeds up and had already scored three. An extra two points for a goal at that stage was worth the risk, Leeds felt the same and scored, it could have gone either way. |
That’s fair enough and I’d have been all over it if we’d sneaked a win. The way the game was playing out though, both teams, but especially us were vulnerable when we were attacking. The chances of conceding by losing possession in their half were far higher than they are in most games. They were countering with pace, intricacy and numbers we just couldn’t handle. No issue with the Milwall one at all, but yesterday was one of the moments we needed to take stock IMO. Having said that, it’s exactly what we did for the last few minutes at Burnley and that went wrong too.

Peart - Harris on 20:41 - Nov 24 by Dr_Winston | It will never, ever cease to be amaze me how many people can't fathom simple things like players being played out of position. MPH is not a winger. Abdulai is not a winger. We have wingers at the club. Proper ones. For some reason the boss likes to hang midfielders out to dry on the wing instead. In any case, MPH has done quite well despite this in recent games, but struggled today. Obviously this makes him the worst player in the World. |
It was the lack of basics in the first halve I suspect that has brought him into view. I genuinly wanted to be replaced at half-time due to his poor footbaling skills which were outside of issues from being played out of position. Through circumstance I've not seen him play well, I've seen it posted after a game I've not attended. Those I've attended have not given me a stellar view on him.

Peart - Harris on 21:56 - Nov 30 with 1238 views | PawelAbbott | I don't know what the fuss is about. He is an average Championship player. He would look good at League One level. He is certainly not Premier league level. That is why Brentford have loaned out a 22 year old. If they could have sold him, they would have. That's why he is still available in the last week of a transfer window. Sadly, that is the position we are in at the moment. That this is the pool of players we are swimming in. Average to below average Championship players

To me it was telling that Portsmouth didn't seem interested in getting him back.

Personally I would "rest" Ronald and bring him on later, it may be the kick up the backside he needs. He is a better player than he is showing for us and no it's not the coach.

He is a half hearted player, he gets knocked off the ball too easily and is not committed enough in the box, he could easily score more. I did like him winding up their keeper though at our late free kick.
Peart - Harris on 08:51 - Dec 2 with 515 views | Legend83 | In fairness to Peart-Harris, he is getting in good positions and he definitely can pick a pass. The rest of his game is currently C- but I think there is a player in there. Let's not forget his good performance at Watford - it can happen.

But that is how clever players try and play with minimal contact to avoid injuries it is how they are coached but by doing that becomes a bit of a liability when stronger challenges need to be made often when getting caught in possession, the trick that better players know is not to get caught on the ball, knowing when to move the ball when options are available with a single touch but then again if you are given a hospital pass in tight positions with no options you can be made to look a poor players. I quite like him as a player but then again how much time do you give him especially if he is in a position he is unaccustomed to being in, he won't be happy and it shows at time with how frustrated he looks but as a player sometimes you need to look at yourself and adapt. Do we preserver will him, no point if our own players are available in the same position that he is asked to play in. For me another player who has been moved around to fit into a system that isn't working correctly. Key being asked at times to be a fullback, winger and central midfielder as he is an excellent player but the players around him aren't as adaptable as him and are stuck in their ways so don't cover for him properly as he moves positions within the games and his errors are amplified as he tries or is expected to do too much without the correct support around him.

I can't understand why you try to make excuses for him. No commitment when he plays and often hides. He only came here because nobody else would take him, he didn't originally want to come, even Portsmouth didn't want him back.
Peart - Harris on 09:11 - Dec 3 with 95 views | union_jack | With Eom’s recent absence he’s got some game time under his belt and in my opinion has improved, if only slightly. With Eom back, I think he is a good bencher to replace Eom late in games. He shouldn’t be anywhere near the starting XI ideally.

There are clear signs he avoids any physical contact during a game. That is not clever in any way The cleverer of players weren’t afraid to get stuck in.
