as I am away for the opening day I am thrilled to be missing such a crap one
Norwich, Millwall and Blackpool all midweek is a bit crap and Cardiff on Boxing day
WTF is it with QPR and fixtures by the seaside? Last time I saw us play in Brighton … either a midweek, or a December, or both, a Brighton fan was trying to tell me you’ll never see a London club in Brighton at the weekend as the police insist on it. The following Saturday Brighton’s visitors were Fulham. In addition to that the London teams in the Prem always seem to be visiting Brighton at the weekend. From which I deduce two things … 1) the Ruperts don’t count. 2) the Sky TV/ Premier League axis of effluence are more powerful than the police.
So to this season and the Championship. We visit Blackpool on a Tuesday night in mid-March whereas Millwall visit Blackpool at the very end of April … on a Saturday. Oh I do like to be beside the fcuking sea!
Yes I know boo-hoo-hoo not fair and you stick your candy-floss up your arrse.

I may do Sunderland and Swansea in early September is also tempting. No doubt they’ll both be moved to Friday evening or 12 o clock Sunday or something ridick.

Yeah went up there what, 15 years ago? Drew 2-2, crackers from Furlong and Rowlands, deserved to win. Beautiful weather that weekend, went on Seaburn beach, just lovely.

That is literally over the road to my home and where I walk the dog each day. It's a beautiful seafront though subject to strong winds. I hope there'll be many QPR supporters enjoying a sunny August weekend at Roker.

Some long trips for London based Rs. Only short trips are Millwall, Reading, Watford & Luton. Hope you all enjoy M1/M6

I had a feeling our record at Blackburn is somewhat akin to our record at Forest and, yep: last won there in 1999 and the 11 games since have yielded two draws and 9 defeats. Is the prediction competition open yet?
oh well, away games i can get to so far...... the wealdstone friendly, charlton cup game. blackburn watford millwall swansea coventry reading rotherham
not great, and no blackpool in the sun....unless i can get that march week off in a heat wave.
