The next war won’t be about troops. They are largely irrelevant. We probably have the capability right now of killing every last one of those troops with the push of a button. As do they. This is why the next war truely will be the war to end all wars because there’ll be no bugger left.
Ultimately in an invasion you always need boots on the ground, otherwise it's not an invasion just an annihilation/massacre/destruction etc.
If they do invade (bearing in mind they already invaded Ukraine in 2014 and took the Crimea) lets hope troops on the ground is the worst thing that happens.
Maybe the intense international pressure will stop them but Russia and China seem to sense a Western weakness right now. Poor leadership, weak willed, namby pamby politcians who roll over for them most times means the two of them are feeling bold.

You can't see what's wrong with;
1 - Clinton taking tons of money off Ukrainians through her foundation
2 - Clinton gang organising the overthrow of a legitimately elected Ukrainian government...Clinton, Obama and Biden ordered the new Ukrainian regime to put their guys in place or have funds cut off, guess what...Clinton, Obama and Biden got their way. Do you remember Clinton's phone call revealed by Wikileaks? "...f*ck the EU" and then pressed on with what the Ukrainians had paid her to press on with.
3 - This then causes Russia to act to secure their naval base and prevent Nato from being camped on their border....the Russians who already controlled Crimea simply announced that Crimea was now part of Russia again...not a shot was fired. The Democrats created this mess.
4 - Clinton gang then fixes the DNC vote on who should run as President...Bernie Sanders was robbed - Seth Rich is then murdered for coming forward to grass on Clinton.
5 - Clinton loses to Trump, blames the Russians - no evidence is ever produced for this that hasn't been proven to be corrupted...
- The person that was meant to be Trump's point man, meeting with the Russians, turned out to be a long standing CIA operative whose links with Russia were well established...it was a set up - this has been proven in court and the CIA operative was given a slap on the wrist for his part in the Russia hoax -BUT YOU WON'T HEAR ABOUT THAT IN THE MEDIA/PROPAGANDA YOU CONSUME. For most people, if the TV or the paper or their favourite website doesn't report on something proven in court then it never happened - this is the manipulative game they are playing with you

6 - A senile old man with deeply corrupt "ties" (his whole family has been on the take) to Ukraine is put forward as President and an election is rigged. Biden's drug addict son is on the board of a Ukrainian energy company and is paid a fortune for running messages back and for between his dad, Hilary, Obama etc. and the Ukrainian puppet government in Kiev. (They are also on the take from China and the compromised, propaganda tool that is the Left-wing US media and tech companies silence a newspaper that dares to report evidence that Biden is compromised)
7 - Clinton made assurances about the ethical standards required of her regading her "Foundation" (which is just a way for foreign governments/elites to buy the American policies of their choosing via the Democrat party) and holding office in Obama's government....she broke those promises and circumnavigated the system so that government could not see her communications (the e-mail scandal)...she broke the law
....but you are commanded to get angry at Trump for "ripping paper up and throwing it in the bin" (any fecking evidence?) and that's what you focus on.
What the Democrats have been getting up to makes 'Watergate' look like amateur hour. They are deeply corrupt criminals who are about to send the sons and daughters of those they despise out to war with Russia because Ukrainians have paid them millions of dollars to do so, because it helps them distract from their multiple crises at home and (this is my hunch) because engineering some kind of loss of face for the US military actually suits their wider goals.

That is the point after everything England did to Ireland including the famine they remained neutral, many in the Ukraine didn't, their famine might have had something to do with it but lots of them fought with the Germans not the case with the paddies. The Eu and it's empire building is a dangerous thing. All we needed was NATO and to keep the status quo. What else might Russia do if she does go to war?
Lets hope the diplomatic attempts solve the problem but one thing is for sure, one way or the other, Ukraine won't be joining the EU.

I think you will find Putin has already invaded part of Ukraine, he has sent his troops into Crimea and some parts of Eastern Ukraine already.
