We'd just like to provide an update to Trust members following our announcement earlier in the week that we intended to call for an EGM. We have delivered a letter to the club this morning where we have formally called for that EGM.
In the past 48 hours, we have been in contact with a number of shareholders, and we were delighted that we had a total of 54 unique shareholders backing our call for an EGM which equated to around 25% of the total shareholding.
A massive thank you to all supporters for their backing over this. We will update you once we have a date for the meeting.
I wonder that out of the other 75% of shareholders with also vote for an EGM..
With what the yanks said about the club i think they just might..

March 25th 2021:
"We have already held a meeting with the Dale Supporters Trust and held our first Supporters’ Panel meeting this week to discuss season cards, in our attempts to improve communications.
We understand supporters’ frustration with results and off-field decisions, and we admit that communication could and should have been better throughout the season."
Dale Trust website 8th April 2021:
"Given we had close to a third of the responses seeking more information with a time frame for replies from both. We followed this up with a number of questions to both the Rochdale AFC Board of Directors and Chris Dunphy last Friday. We published the responses to our Members’ questions from Chris Dunphy on Sunday evening.
Unfortunately, we did not receive replies to those questions put to the Club and despite a number of subsequent attempts to by ourselves to obtain answers to the questions, we have been repeatedly informed by the Club that they will be unable to answer our Members’ questions until after the next scheduled Board Meeting that is due to take place on Monday 19th April."

The Speakmans were invited on more than one occasion " as official Club Representatives, due to their offer of support to Rochdale AFC."
Shareholders representing 25% of issued shares have requested an EGM and as of 2pm today one shareholder I spoke to from this group has heard nothing.
Yesterday, at 11:45 a.m. on the Rochdale Ambassadors business WhatsApp group, a message was posted "How about the Ambassadors group go to an RFC and Hornets game when the rules allow it?..."
Within 5 minutes the CE had responded "That's a great idea...….will progress that idea *****…" |  |

The problem will come after relegation is confirmed and they want to communicate with us to buy season tickets to help them out.
After treating the supporters like idiots and an inconvenience they simply will not be in a position to complain when the supporters decide to give them the two fingers back, which will be exactly what some of us will be doing this summer if Bottomley is still at the club in any capacity. |  |
