New Signings 2020/21 16:18 - Feb 24 with 5583 views | Jacket | Probably about time to start one of these. It's been well documented that around 14 players could be leaving in the summer, so who's gonna come in to fill the gap??? Some ITK on here are already talking about pre contracts for a Romanian and a Portuguese player. Any other whispers floating about?
New Signings 2020/21 on 17:03 - Feb 24 with 4056 views | Swansea93 | Someone mentioned Gethin Jones RB from Carlisle coming in, presumably to replace Naughton who's out of contract.

He hasn’t been getting the minutes he needs out in Germany, there’s also the link with his dad having played for us, seems a good fit

Holyhead Hotspur were sniffing around but Birchy has offered him a better deal.. You heard it here first 👠

I thought he had MOM against Spurs in CL last week. Be a PL player next season

Absolutely, he is really a Jack of course. Ideally a defensive midfielder on a perm as well. Someone like Noble.... 😎

Can't get a game for them in the league, less than 90 minutes under his belt. Almost makes the loans we organise for our players look good.

He's still got a year left on his deal, I'd rather see us play Benda next season imo.

If he really will cost us only 700k, I hope Kalulu is our first signing. Low cost, low risk, & high potential. We desperately need permanent signings.

I'd be bringing Jack Evans back asap if we have a recall option. Absolutely no point at all in him sitting on the bench for Mansfield when he could be doing atleast that for us here. 21st in league 2 in a bit of a battle and what looks like no interest in playing youngsters.

Yup. Try to find a cheap, old head willing to sit on the bench and cover, then give Benda the season to bed in. Accept that his inexperience means that he will probably make the odd mistake, but give him the chance.

It really was a pointless loan in the end... John also hasn't made the matchday squad for Sunderland in any game I'm pretty sure.

Think Declan is still injured. Mansfield don't even look interested in making subs, let alone giving a young player the chance to improve their shocking midfield which includes a guy who tells their own fans to fck off. Looking as poor an idea as Connor's Bristol and Boro loans so far.

Basel bought him for 1.8M doesn't get a look in there and will be in the final 12 months of his contract, I'd be suprised if we agreed anything more than 1M when we agreed the loan to buy option.

It's a strange one. The Mansfield manager had Bristol Rovers entrenched in the top 6 of League 1 on a small budget, then left mid-season for more money & to be closer to home. Now Bristol are firmly mid table & Mansfield would've been in a relegation battle had Bury not been expelled. I suppose Swansea thought the new Mansfield manager would improve the team & players. In theory it was a good move, but the grass isn't always greener on the other side. People raised eyebrows as to why Brandon Cooper went to Yeovil, but it means they're more likely to play him. I think he's played 2/3 possible games.

The mistake he's done is to go to one of the top sides in Germany, he should have gone to one of the lesser sides or maybe Championship this season. I'd expect him to go for one of the mid-table sides in the PL next season particularly if he has a decent Euros.

1/3. Unused sub first game, 90 minutes second, not in the squad last Saturday.
