Not because it's Nordledt but because we'll only have Mulder as back up for the rest of this season (unless there's an emergency recall for Benda) and next season we'll need another loan or have to buy a keeper who is probably no better than Nordfeldt.

Having a backup keeper who is no better than Nordfeldt isn’t a problem as long as he’s on wages that reflect that. Nordfeldt is probably on a decent wedge given he joined in the PL.

No we'll have Benda.
We've all had our gripes with Cooper this season but everything we do at the moment you're having a go, it's starting to become a bit of an obsession.
Disappointed not to get a transfer fee, but if he really is on 25k a week, then it's great money saved.
It’s money that can (and probably is) being used to pay the wages of the new loan signings. If a couple more If the senior pro’s are moved on then it could mean another signing and then probably they will probably look at stashing some cash.
I have spoken to a few gk coaches about Benda and they each rate him highly. This season loan will really bring him on. Having him as first choice next season would be fine with me with Mulder or Gould as back up.Mulder did a good job when iniitally called upon but was messed about ratating in and out with Nordfelt. I never felt comfortable with Nordfeld from day one. Never commanded his box. Nothing against Nordfelt and hope his career goes well, but he wasn't a gk I felt was that good coming for crosses, but was a good shot stopper.

Can’t see Mulder being a back up next season, he’s out of contract and probably on decent wedge.

Margetson, who is a lot more educated than anyone here on the subject, hence him having the top job in England when it comes to keepers, thinks Nordfelt was the stronger keeper of the two, so did Potter and his staff before him, Mulder wasn’t up to it.
