Cricket tour v SA 12:00 - Dec 18 with 29925 views | D_Alien | Jimmy Anderson back in action since breaking down in August, and taking a wicket in the first warm-up game Looking forward to this tour, as the team looks to establish a new sense of purpose in the test arena. Ben Stokes had a great tour last time, and should be feeling in good fettle Incidentally, batting for the SA XI, Matthew Arnold. I wondered what he'd been up to after writing Dover Beach

Cricket tour v SA on 18:31 - Aug 30 with 2201 views | isitme | Good win in the 20/20. Great batting by Morgan and Malan. I am a bit concerned about Ali's form. His batting has really lost its way recently. If Dawson was fit he would be a serious option to replace him. I am not really seeing a young white ball spinner coming through who can offer a bit with the bat. Obviously there is Parkinson but he is a limited batter.

Absolutely agree. I thought it unfair the pundits seemed to suggest laying the blame at Glenn Maxwell’s door, though, when Steve Smith’s dismissal was nonchalant while the Aussies were flying. [Post edited 4 Sep 2020 23:40]

The way the faces of the Aussies changed was priceless.

Was listening on TMS and with 6 overs left everyone was talking about what a pasting England were suffering, and estimated we would lose with about 16 balls left. In fairness I almost turned off myself
Cricket tour v SA on 16:50 - Sep 16 with 1832 views | D_Alien | Good effort by England to pass 300, after being 0-2 after 2 balls Sets up what should be an exciting finish to this mini-Ashes series and to what's been an engrossing international cricket season

Cricket tour v SA on 21:13 - Sep 16 with 1777 views | D_Alien | Well, how fabulous was that? Superb cricket! (Not sure about Rashid on that final over, but he's the one with the proven record) A vintage summer of cricket, to follow on from last year too

Had issues with my VPN & couldn't get any of the match or TMS commentary . Gutted as it seems like it was a cracker | | | | Login to get fewer ads

The Australia and India game was a cracker too - in terms of scores posted that is.

Cricket tour v SA on 20:40 - Nov 27 with 1384 views | isitme | Great innings by Bairstow and Curran of the Sam variety continued where he left off in the IPL. Not sure why Wood was left out.
Cricket tour v SA on 16:10 - Nov 29 with 1305 views | D_Alien | Another finely judged victory, Malan the outstanding batsman this time The England batting line-up almost guarantees at least one of them will come off to make the required runs

Cricket tour v SA on 16:43 - Nov 29 with 1276 views | isitme | Two games, two wins with probably 6/10 performances, which is the sign of a good side. The South African team is hardly full of novices, with key players coming off impressive performances in the IPL. Like you said different players are standing up in different games. Malan and Rashid today.

To win by 9 wickets with over two overs to spare is a rout. Malan is in the same company as Kohli and Azam average wise in T20.

What a mess it all is. With so much testing one false positive can thow a whole series in doubt. It is a shame as South Africa have three more series planned over their summer that could be cast in doubt. Some England players also have BBL contracts and time at home that could be in doubt if the pressumed positives in the England camp are actual positives. I suppose elite sportsmen have the access to getting multiple tests to verify a positive result.
Cricket tour v SA on 17:40 - Dec 8 with 880 views | isitme | Thankfully false positives so Bairstow and Trescothick (allegedly) don't have to isolate in their South African hotel until 15th December.
