Of course we were mediocre.... we'd need to be for him to get a game.

Him, or us?

This is precisely why my effort in the caption competition should have had the most votes.

Can't disagree with what he has said, in fact I would even suggest that he played in two poor sides, not exactly improved by his presence. Still now that he is at Sunderland and having seen them already on the TV I would like to think that he has found his true level. P1ss poor comes to mind. League One looks like being an open division this year but would love to see Paul Smyth come up against Lynch (as long as the game isn't scheduled during the Xmas period).

One of the main reasons we were mediocre was because of that useless w*nker

Nigel Spackman was a bit mediocre as well.

He was correct in what he said both forest and ourselves performed at a mediocre level in our division

We not finish above 16th in his time so no problems with what he has said tbf

He was one of our lesser players hence why he is a division lower

In their division sunderland are not a mediocre club

He unlikely to play any different but whatever he done well to get a contract with sunderland - hes yesterdays man so whats the point in even commenting on this

Good luck to him - dont hate him because he wasn't very good for us !!!!!!

He just isnt very good - hey ho - such is life ......

Cannot get the basics right consistently so he will never be anything beyond League 1 standards in my opinion. Any higher than that and the daft errors he makes will get punished as we were only too aware of.

What I don't like about him is that you'd struggle to call him an honest professional. Cries off over Xmas and was always shouting at his team mates when he was usually the biggest culpable c*nt in the pack.

As he is now officially a plum I think we should refer to him as Joel Lychee.

What I would say is possibly he is lacking in intelligence not only on the football field but perhaps in words that come out of his orifice !!!!

Stating that clubs are mediocre when he was one of the worst players - sunderland must be feeling very grateful - be great see the mackems in league 2 - then maybe lynch s team would be top of the league on the proviso that he played no part in their season.

Good luck Stadium of Not so Light !!!!!

Hilarious
