Lets have a bit of music this week.

It's been the anniversary of David Bowie passing away.

This is my favourite clip of his (including the solo by Mick Ronson)

Post a song everyone.

Perhaps not for everyone, especially the lyrics. Heard it this morning, reminded me how good it is...

In a good mood this morning

PS Found this online, knew almost all of it, except about Hanatarash, now that's a gig I would have loved to have been at.

Far too upbeat BBRR, and they will be hearing hearing from the Hanson Family`s lawyers for lifting the chorus to Mmmbop!

I`ll offer this as a counter balance to your exuberance...

Never heard any Terrorvision before, good song.

Spud

Big Terrorvision fan, seen them more times than I can remember since the early 90's.

The track Oblivion was before this lot got out of their prams

PS Spud, good choice with Living Colour, saw them when they supported Anthrax at the Manchester Apollo in 1989(?). After they finished their support set, they were stood behind us watching Anthrax. Spoke with them, nice guys.

Sorry BBRR I stand corrected, pal. I didn`t check the dates! Do you hear the resemblance in the chorus or just me?

Perhaps we should have a `songs that sound like other songs` thread, mostly for Oasis, Paul Weller and Led Zep!

Yeah, can spot it. However (and I can't believe I'm going to defend Hanson), you could say that about millions of songs, you've only got so many chords.

You can trace Rock, Blues, Pop, Jazz... etc to this era and before

You can trace country music all the way back to trad English/Celtic folk music... etc, etc....
However I've seen the future of music at it's.........

Spell & Spud

At the moment this is the best I can do for ROTTS

They really should have had more success then they had.

A song from the series La Casa de Papel. A decent series.

Kate Bush- overlooked on the `national treasure` thread perhaps?

She wrote this when she was 13 or something, I believe.

What`s not to like about a woman that sings like an angel and smokes roll ups?

It's a great song but she's got one of those voices that'd grate on your nerves if you listened to a full album.
