Todays goals 17:55 - Dec 1 with 2849 viewsbosh67

Defence got stretched too often but their keeper made some good saves as well. I didn't realise quite how good Lumley's save at 3-1 was. If our players had been sharper they may have cleared his save that then led to the 3-1 scoreline.

Lots of gaps when we lost the ball today. Have to be more compact and get back quicker.

Never knowingly right.
Poll: How long before new signings become quivering wrecks of the players they were?

Thought their third was offside at the time, and IMO the Sky footage shows he was despite the assistant being perfectly positioned to spot it.

That's what we all thought in SAR - from footage, looks like we may have been right?

Looks like Rangel played 3 players onside. Then stopped running back.

Yep, Rangel looked bad in that third goal, no attempt to affect things at all. Good old Toni bust a gut though.

Yes both passes from Wigan players could be offside, but agree Rangel looks to be playing the attacker's on side both times.

Rangel is a bit of a swine for that atm. Several at Stoke as well, including the second goal (which I still think was offside but if it wasn't it can only have been him playing them on).

Obviously the older/slower you get, the more you drop back I guess.

He has been superb up to now of course, and , as you have said before, if he, or any of our players could play well for 46 games they would be in the PL!

Listner had a poor game, what he does on the 2.00 minute mark on the highlights clip is very worrying for the season ahead and how we will need to play, less than 10 yards from halfway line, steps up and tries to play an offside without looking across line and then is so slow to get back. Defending deep suits him, but if we need to open up and chase the game, he needs a CDM like Cameron to protect space in front of him.
