Pinner Paul 09:36 - Oct 24 with 1954 views | Boston | A referees thoughts please. Would you have had any issues with the Sheff Wed’s goalie kit? Me, I thought it did not stand out enough from the rest of their team. [Post edited 24 Oct 2018 9:36]

Pinner Paul on 09:51 - Oct 24 with 1894 views | quickpassrotter | My referee days are long gone - but yes, could not understand why the Keeper was allowed to wear that colour shirt last night. Complete clash wth his outfield players. From our corners could not really tell where the Keeper was standing in amongst initially a static bunch of circa 8 players at the near post. Strange decision to allow that colour top. However, nowhere near as bad as the rugby on Sunday - Cardiff Blues vs Glasgow Warriors. Both sides wearing the same colour blue shirts and design of shirt. Ridiculous.
Pinner Paul on 09:57 - Oct 24 with 1867 views | PinnerPaul | Yes agree it was far too close to outfield players, who also incidentally clashed with the crowd! A few times, I was thinking, why didn't Bidwell just leave it, before realising there was a Sheff Weds player behind him! On the GK, if you look at pictures on offy, the shirt does look a BIT more different to outfield ones, but with all the kits available to players, ref s and GKs at this level, there shouldn't be any clashes at all. I also think Lumley shouldn't wear black when ref does, but hey ho that happens every week in the PL as well so what do I know!

No football team should wear black shirts, that's the refs outfit.

I agree - but when they do, why doesn't the ref change - at this level - I should add. I DO have more than one shirt - but they are all black!

He was pretty decent; his job was made easier by Wednesday who came to play and behaved themselves.

16/1 - the first part, he says smugly!
Pinner Paul on 13:37 - Oct 24 with 1574 views | timcocking | I had a huge issue with their kit in general. Looked like an All-Blacks jersey that had been left in the sun for ten years then combined with a really sh!t pair of curtains. P1ss poor. I actually prefer our magenta. Pinner Paul on 15:02 - Oct 24 with 1464 views | kingo | It appears to be a trend with keepers wearing a kit very similar to the outfield players, Derby did the same at ours and I have also seen several other teams do similar this season. There is probably some reasoning behind it as it is not by chance that several teams have changed their keepers kits.

The no cards would have made it early retirement money then? LOL

Who knows, I'm happy (and retired already!) with the 16/1! I did hear someone on the way home last night say they had Hemed to score first and 3-0 - that would have been a decent pay out as well!

110/1 for the Villa game so I'd guess the odds were similar last night.

Deep Purple.....maaaahn. About a shade and a half away from black and virtually identical under floodlights.
