I caught the Talk Sport commentary of the draw that Huddersfield got against them. It was hilarious at the end, masses of noise from the Terriers fans of course, and the other lot all f*cked off before the final whistle and there was no last game of the season lap of (dis)honour or tearful farewell........... and then they go away and get shafted by Newcastle last day. Jolly good fun!
‘morbid curiosity about where this is all going’

When I lived in Spain I once saw my local team Torrevieja win 19-0 in a regional cup game, the other team turned up with 9 players and no-one for their bench. It was a bit like the kickabouts that we all had as kids, totally bizarre dude.

I saw North Greenford United beat Godalming Town 8-4 on Wednesday, highest scoring game I've ever seen.
Neither game had quite the 12 goals from one match, but on Boxing Day 1963(?) my brother saw West Ham 2 Blackburn 8 in the morning & Chesham 4 Letchworth 5 in the afternoon.
That would have been close to paying 3d a goal!
Both losing sides won the return fixture one or two days later!

Last weekend I saw our under 18s lose 1-8 at home to Den Haag then went to West Byfleet and saw Sheerwater beat Cove 4-3 making 16 goals in 3 hours.

I just simply went into couch potato mode and watched Hibs 5-5 draw with Rangers, Liverpool's 4-0 win and polished off by Levante beating Barca 5-4. Never wise to drop Messi...
