Hmm, tough one. I think your 11 is the strongest option on paper (minus the illustrious #23 and those out injured) but not necessarily suited to first game away from home. Possibly Narsingh benched and Fer at the point. | |

At the time we were chasing Mesa there were a few reports out of Spain suggesting that he would be best played on the right side of a diamond. I expect we intend to play him as the base but I could see him being played further up. Especially if it's away from home. I suspect they'd work well together. Lack of height the only worry with those two and carroll but that's never stopped us in the past. | | | |
