In his first 3 seasons at Manchester City Nasri started 77 league games. That's including both title winning sides. Sigurdsson is better at set pieces, works harder and is better at shooting from distance. That's pretty much it. If someone offered Nasri 7 years ago for Sigurdsson in a straight swap I don't think you'd be finding many thinking we were giving away 10 times the player

Nasri on 12:38 - Jul 7 with 3977 views | Dewi1jack | Personally I think Siggy is the better team player. Nasri is probably the more skilful. And what we need more than anything at the mo, is to get back to the point where we have a team, playing for each other and the shirt. It's what kept us up in the beginning- we had some adequate players, but the spirit to fight for each other was very strong. Nasri IMHO is lazy and not much of a team player (thinks there's an I in team) So a no from me.

Opinion based on an attitude that stinks plus his waistline. My football knowledge is fine and he is not what the Swans need. Ability he has, I hope you can give him personal help with the rest. Good luck!

Nasri on 16:16 - Jul 7 with 3608 views | Jango | He's only 30 and has had an excellent career. In comparison Wayne routledge is 32, is pretty awful and half of our fans thought he was worthy of a first team place last year. Crazy

Such a bad attitude that he's played over 200 times for man city and arsenal, played over 40 times for France and won copious amounts of silverware. We don't need players like that around our club [Post edited 7 Jul 2017 16:21]

I would be careful doubting others' football knowledge when on 3/10/17 you posted: At least we'll have a manager who will be backed to the hilt by the board and player power will be a thing of the past. His record as a manager has been pretty impressive to be fair to him so hopefully he can get the best out of a talented squad. Shame for Guidolin cos it looked like he could have got the season going with a few more games but it is what it is. Good luck Bob!!

firstly that's me being positive/hopeful, not knowledgeable. Secondly 3/10/17 hasn't even come about yet Thirdly, if you've got the time to go over all of my posts then you need to get a life you sad man.

No. We don't need the petulant Nasri that is now available unless Clement is sure he can find the player that was there, otherwise forget it. We are a team that will have set backs and spells under the cosh. Other managers have found him wanting in such circumstances.
Nasri on 16:52 - Jul 7 with 3501 views | Jango | Yes I understand that, but a lot of the times we have been under the cost in the past has been down poor players such as routledge, barrow, montero etc inability to keep the ball, or do anything productive with it

I wasn't the one slagging off other people's football knowledge. Do not make thoughtless remarks, what do you know about Aberhugh's football knowledge? Is yours based on your remarks about Bob and his managerial skills? People are entitled to an opinion. Disagree by all means but don't talk down and be so rude. Yes, I looked at what you have said in the past as nobody had been objectionable to you. Not my fault you said Bob had a good managerial background, it clearly did not help, he was clueless.

And what do these people really know about Nasri's attitude? If he had a shit attitude like they are suggesting then he wouldn't have had the career he's had. People on here love to criticise but don't like to be criticised.

We're wanting to trim the roster and improve quality. Selling Sigurdsson to replace with a lesser player (while leaving some money left over to spend on more lesser players) achieves the opposite. Whatever we sell Siggy for, IF we are forced to go that route, we'd better have ONE equally talented player in mind to spend that money on.

Who the hell are you to decide to criticise people. If you were a little more knowledgeable and widely read you would know about the Nasri attitude problems. France, Arsenal and Man City all found as his powers waned he was a real arse. I don't know how you thought Nasri was a good idea in the first place. Ah! But then I see you thought Bob was worth a shout. Top football knowledge. People in glasshouses.

What they know is mainly based on what they read in the papers and have seen on tv. There is also his pathetic sending off for Sevilla against Leicester in last seasons champions league. 3 goals 3 assists 8 bookings and 1 red in 31 league and champions league games for Sevilla last season. Great % completed pass average though.
