Given choice between replacing some, mostly, aging players, who had one good season and Ranieri, Leicester board will go with getting rid of players I think.

Yes, we had a superb goalie/defence too but not sure we'd have got promoted on 2011 without Adel.
As for Leicester, yes losing Kante is a massive blow but they were saying on BBC Breakfast this morning the players just aren't trying as hard as they did last season.
It's thought that Ranieri is still giving last seasons players too much time in the starting XI. They may have deserved it but come Oct/Nov if it's apparent they're under performing then drop them, but he didn't. Last season is fish & chip wrapping now and players need to be doing the business now, not last season.

Vardy looks absolute pony at the moment too. They are no doubt up against it. I reckon they'll have enough though. Eventually mahrez will score a couple in a game and get them moving again.
Sunderland are pure gash. Hull will start to drop now after losing Snodgrass. Huge player for them. Then your guess is as good as mine. If I was picking a third it would be palace. No big new manager bounce for them when allardyce came in.

Ruud Gullit I think got it right on MOTD 2
They were never all outstanding players they were just a good team last season with no fear and nothing to lose really , but they did not being in better players to push on the ones they had but stood still giving them all big contracts, from 20/30k a week to 100k a week, they don't have the hunger and now just scared of losing, have slowed their game down and getting picked off. | |
