I agree with a lot of what you say,there have been a lot of incredibly bad decisions made over the last 2 years,be it recruitment of players,managers etc.

The reason Jenkins remains in the club is because he is still sitting on £5m of shares.He has been paid about £7m so far , and it would be good practice by the Americans to enter into an agreement with the previous MD to keep him on for continuity. There is probably an agreement with him that he will be paid the remainder if he achieves certain aims such as keeping the club in the Premiership,achieve profits through reducing costs etc and possibly helping to negotiate the purchase of the Stadium .
I am certain that the amount of cash paid to the shareholders in total was a lot less than the suggested £69m
The fact that there are still shares owned by Dineen, Jenkins ,Morgan and Katzen shows that the purchase was not as straightforward as was made out. These shares have not been retained by choice of those shareholders.I am sure that they would have loved to have had their full money and disappeared.Also it would appear that the two biggest shareholders were forced to accept shares in the holding company rather than have cash paid for them.
The no rights to preemption statement filed at Companies House on the 4th August indicates that Katzen and the Morgan's were to receive shares in the American investors company, Swansea Football LLC in exchange for some of their shares. I would suggest that they weren't to happy about this, but had to agree to allow the purchase to go through.This would correspond with the reports coming out earlier in the proceedings that two shareholders weren' t keen to sell.
I would guess that that the total paid was about £50m to £55 m. Not a big price to gain control of a Premiership club.But Jenkins and the rest were desperate to sell, and everything above ties in and explains what has happened to date. |  |

If the Trust had known about it they would not have been able to stop it happening, but they might have agreed to sell their shares, or some of them.This would have greatly reduced the pot of cash for everyone else.This means that they acted illegally by not informing the Trust, and it is the reason why in my opinion the Trust should pursue action for compensation. | |

You are most certainly not stating facts Darran, just your opinion. As i've stated to you previously, of course you cannot remove shareholders. But you can, with pressure force directors to resign from the board and indeed from their paid positions at the club.
I for one am looking forward to the West Ham game. But if you're disillusioned with it now, then how will relegation make no difference to your life as you stated in a previous post? Do you think relegation comes with a magic wand or a fvckin genie bottle whereby we can wish all our troubles away? |

The usual dimwits on this site would rather spout their arse dribble than debate real issues.
What we are left with is clear disharmony at the Club. By now Jenkins, Dineen and Morgan would be fully aware of the whole bad sentiment and are probably feeling trapped - a wise move from the Yanks otherwise it would be them copping all this flak.
I'm also pretty sure in the Sell Outs minds they would've hoped (gambled it seemed) on us having our usual EPL season being around 15th or so with 3 or 4 clear teams already in trouble. They may have thought that a little strengthening in January would then be enough to almost guarantee safety and them edging quietly closer to the exit door with more of their shares sold. The silence, apart from a pathetic wheeze lately from Jenkins has been deafening,
However, due to our precarious position in the league and us, the innocent fans, desparately trying our hardest to keep everything in check just to let the playing side concentrate on the pitch as opposed to off it, have let them off the hook to an extent.
The sell outs, as I've said already, understand more and more the hatred towards them but so far this is nothing.
Action groups, NBA and whoever else that will naturally feel the hurt by what these kunts have done to us will need to rise up very soon with no relent.
We at least need the remaining poison properly drained from the Club. I know it's delicate and complicated in a maze of legal wranglings but it's time we really start to crank up the pressure now and finally see how far we can exert the strength of the 21% like we've never done before..
The big difference between us and other Club's where they've been sold against the will of the fans is our part ownership.

It's not hard to make money. You just need luck and get others to do all the work for you.

(that's not a bitter prediction, I was chatting to a sociology professor about this stuff earlier and research has apparently shown that just about everyone who gets life changing amounts of money face serious and dislocating issues shortly afterwards. Many become very unhappy and lose all purpose, relationships collapse, often take to drugs and drink, perhaps because they think it will solve all their problems and of course it doesn't.)

Agree entirely, the Trust should have been given the opportunity to at least consider an offer for their shares, the Trusts objective of preserving professional football in swansea might have been better served by having the cash in the bank or invested with a view to being in a position to pick up the pieces if this thing ends in disaster, god forbid.
I also believe the Trust should persue the shareholders for damages or some form of recourse.
There is also the issue of the alternative bidder from China, it appears the Trust knew little if anything about this and were not afforded the opportunity to consider the merits of both approaches. It's no secret Chris and I have had some pretty venomous exchanges but I'm with him on this one.
I don't look at posters ,per se, just what is posted.
It's well documented I had nothing against a take over and I disputed ,still do, those who said that the take over was so fetid.
They might have felt but didn't KNOW things were so dubious.
It's clear Jenkins is 100 per cent responsible, for deceiving all, yanks, fans, even players.
Yet, he swans into our games when ,in actual fact, he should feel his attendance is provocative .
