I rarely post,and have never criticise players ,but just for once ,we have all the usual escaped goats being hammered ,Routlidge,FF ,Taylor ,but if you have a look at the re run of the goals ,what on earth is Naughton doing ,looked like the Mannequin challenge to me ,but hey ho ,better to pick on the usual suspects [yes ,before you say ,sometimes they do deserve it ]
Remember all the flak Williams was getting ,what would we give to have him there now ?,.

One of the reasons the central defenders looked so poor against Man Utd was because Mr Blobby thought it was a good idea to have no defensive midfielder on the pitch so they were constantly outnumbered when Zlatan, Pogba, Rooney, Mata and anyone else who fancied joining in kept attacking straight through the big gap in the middle just in front of our defence so I think there were mitigating circumstances why VDH & Mawson looked so poor on that occasion.
He also went without a DM in the previous game against Stoke which also finished as a 3-1 loss and this time it was Joe Allen , Charlie Adam, Xherdan Shaqiri, Wilfried Bony etc, etc, etc who had the freedom of the same space. Blobby clearly didn't learn from that experience. |  | | |
