I'm not sure what to think though I don't believe the statement to be true to its word,I don't believe they've reached out to the Trust for starters plus you can add to that that JVZ has just told me on Twitter that none of the sellers know what the new owners have got.
I said in reply to him saying the future is look great "It still might not be how much are they going to invest? What players we signing and what about stadium investment?"
and he replied "none of us know, but we all have to back them."
Now you'd think someone would have asked these questions before possibly putting the future of the club at risk. [Post edited 22 Jul 2016 0:11]

Jenkins with a bit of oversight to hopefully deter him from any more Emnes/Monk moments might not necessarily be a bad thing.
Ultimately he's been rather good at the job, but in recent years his more autocratic tendencies have begun to cause a problem or two. Someone with more power (and more to lose from poor decisions) above him might give him the kick up the arse that we all seem to need from time to time. |  |

Hopefully they will be true to their word and we will see some new players and work on expanding capacity at the Liberty.
The capacity issue is important if we are to stay in this league. I had to give up my season ticket due to family and financial reasons and never thought I'd get it back. I have been very fortunate to have been contacted by the club and got a season ticket again for this season, but how many haven't?
I came to the swans as a school boy when I was given a free ticket for the vetch. 25 years later I'm still going and that's why expansion is critical.

I see from twitter this am that our new owners are so committed to their new purchase that one of them, Kaplan, has gone back to California to attend a meeting he needs to be at...
No news on investment, transfers, stadium expansion, bllsht on reaching out to the Trust...I'm actually more concerned now that I've heard from them, than when I'd heard nothing from them.
I'm hoping beyond hope that this is all going to work out and that our new owners will do well by our club, but they haven't covered themselves with glory with that start |  |

I just have the feeling that old shareholders have got out at the right time and that the Trust should have too.
With Trust banking circa £20m would have meant that when inevitable downward spiral occurs - the Trust could have then stepped in and taken 100% fan ownership of the club.
The club is now owned by corporate individuals from US and we are now no different from most other PL clubs.
In my view people are too focussed on short term in particular of retaining PL status - and losing sight of long term Trust objectives of having a professional football team in Swansea controlled by the fans.
There will be a downward spiral - it is an inevitably over next few years and without £20m can't see how Trust could then take control and have the firepower to take club forward again.
Maybe the Yanks will offer to buy the Trust out and hope if that occurs Trust would then decide to bank the money. | | | |

American businessman Jason Levien says his consortium has bought a 68% controlling stake in Swansea City.
It had been reported the group would hold 60% of the shares, but the new figure was confirmed at a delayed media conference on Friday.
Levien said the consortium would make money available to buy players, but added investment be "reasoned and measured".
"We won't be making a huge splash at the expense of stability," he said.
He also moved to quell concerns among the club's Supporters Trust who still hold a 21% stake and had claimed they were not being consulted over the investment.
"The [Supporters] Trust is a huge asset to the club. We've had interaction with them on more than half a dozen occasions," he said. |  |
