I read somewhere that some university in the States has good form for predicting the next president and has got it correct for many years and this time they have predicted Sanders.
I hope so... he's the only candidate at present I could see myself tossing a vote on.
I'm all for every reasonable step that has to be taken to combat terrorism, but this is an embarrassment and flies in the face of everything the USA is supposed to stand for. It's downright fascist in my opinion, and I don't use that term lightly.
But like I said earlier, I fear that one more major terrorist act in the USA might just get Trump elected.

Honestly, coming as a US voter, there's a value to candidates like Trump. much like Sarah Pallin last go. where as long as they don't come within spitting distance of actually getting past the primaries they are fun and entertaining. they make you feel like "well it could always be a lot worse".

Of course he's appealing to stupid people. It's a fine way to gain support and votes as stupid people are voters too and there are a lot of them, probably a majority.
However his fiendish plan will inevitably fall apart on polling day when stupid people can't find their way to the polling station as they are too p issed or too busy banging their head against a lamppost.
