After that game against Citey, I was fearing what the season would hold for us.
On the bus trip back down, it was certainly a very interesting debate, although quite subdued.
I was one of the "BYHOFS" fearing we'd be in a relegation scrap with about 5 other teams. Half expecting to be going back to Championship grounds the following season.
Now we beat Arsenal, Citey, United, Chelsea even bloody Everton finally (we really need to beat Spurs in the Prem,) home or at their place- doesn't matter, we have no fear of teams.
150 games in the PL, just absolutely f***ing amazing.
We really need the expansion, so we can get the kiddies hooked for life as well. |  |

Exactly that, expansion and keep moving forward. Baffles me why some wouldn't want European football also, yes there is some dodgy teams to seem more hassle than it's worth, a la Petrolul and Kuban but it's the next step surely to become a team regularly competing in Europe and we can then attract the quality of the Bony's and Sigurdssons with much more ease. IMO our midfield is capable of the strain that Europe brings, a backup keeper, a pair of fullbacks and a few additions going forward and we would easily cope. Not to mention the amazing trips that us as fans get, think Valencia. Of course I would never have gone to Krasnodar or St Gallen if we didn't draw them either. Just my thoughts on it anyway. | | | |

played 38, scored 32, goals against 74, diff -42
Last time QPhaha got relegated
played 38, scored 30 against 60, diff -30
This time;
played 36, scored 39 against 67, diff -28 with 2 more hammerings to come!
In 3 seasons, these two amateur mercenary teams have conceded 201 goals, scoring a measly 101 between them (and I heard one of our fans saying get Zamora ffs!!).
That should be proof once and for all, that throwing money at your team coming up doesn't bring success or stability | |
