Macc have managed to sneak up to second after a good run and a good away win last night. I'd say it's currently odds on we'll get two old faces coming back into the League this year ; Woking and Forest Green are carrying the flag for the wannabe newbies.
I'd like to see Gateshead get back in ; they've been out of the league since before I was born. |  |

I did not mention the O's
In fact i come on here to have a bit of a rest from it all
No ,footballing conversations are OK by me which is why i would like to see the post on FOL
As for the conference it is generally shit to watch and for the record i think we will avoid it but i am sure if we ended up in it there would be about 1200 at games saying "it's time we put the past behind us and get behind the team"

Hi Paul, when did you last watch a Macc Town game? The town is full of reds and blues with barely a Macc Town shirt to be seen. They are averaging about 1500 a game despite their good run of form and no one seems bothered about the club. Plus they have/had an owner who only bought them in an attept to secure UK citizenship  | | | |

They are one of a number of clubs who are too close to the Manchester/Liverpool axis for comfort. Even Bolton and Wigan suffer because of it, so Macc are bound to find it hard. They were always Northern Premier League or thereabouts when I was growing up, so like Fleetwood the culture of following the local club isn't all that well established. | |
