Aberdare - Swansea supporters bus on 20:15 - Sep 11 with 2997 views | Pacemaker | Definitely still running, I don't know who organises it but there is always a globe coaches bus parked opposite Pizza Hut after every home game and I know some boys go to away games but that is about 8 boys in somebody's works van I think.
| Life is an adventure or nothing at all. |

Aberdare - Swansea supporters bus on 20:56 - Sep 11 with 2893 views | JennyLohnrose | Absolutely still running and has been since the 70s. Even in the darkest days on Tuesday night games when there were less than 2000 at the Vetch, there was ALWAYS a coach from Aberdare. They can proudly say they have had a bus at every home game for over 35 years. So God bless Stuart Price, Bobby Price, Reg and Roger Jenkins and all the others who have worked hard to keep the bus going during this time. Put up with a lot of shit off the scum over the years but have always given it back in spades. ABERDARE ALWAYS THERE. FOLLOW SWANSEA EVERYWHERE!

Occasionally I still see some of the Aberdare lads that have supported us since the 70s. Always could rely on them to raise funds for the Supporters club, same goes for the Port Talbot section too. Reliable fans that have been through some dire seasons. Still flying The Swansea flag, and respect to them and many more familiar faces, that are indeed STID.

Legends those boys and even though have rarely gone on that bus I'm very proud that it's always been there through the very thick and thin... We were there.... When hardly anybody else was.... We were there.... Big up to the 3 or 4000 back in those days.... We were there.. Up the Jacks!!!

The amount of Swans tops on the kids up there is a sheer joy to see... We have to stay in this league and we have to hope they mess up and stay away from it (the scum)

Still running thats an amazing effort, I used the service a few times in those early years, getting picked up with a few mates from Glynneath and that would have been when the Swans were in Div 2 (proper Div 2 - not this modern naming rubbish).

I met loads of Merthyr jacks at last seasons palace game, one was insistent they hold the numbers in the area and are increasing in those numbers massively.

Yes definitely on the rise and pleasure to see so many kids wearing our shirts now. The scum valley commandos are in decline!

I agree generally, and especially with the younger fans, which of course once bitten are jacks forever.

I put that with the welsh following scenario. They have six flags at a game and genuinely believe they have the monopoly, same in west wales, twelve of them shout loudly and everyone thinks its an army, when deep down they and we know they are insignificant shreds of mud hanging off a boot. West Wales is, and always has been Swansea.
