For literal effect, maybe! Because I really can't understand some people's logic. We were crying out for decent strikers to help Bony last year. And now we are signing some, people are negative. Michu was injured and we had Vasquas as back up! Not good enough. Bony, Gomis and Deeney would be very exciting. | |

Bony is nowhere near mobile enough to be of genuine interest to Liverpool.
However, as for whether he is staying or not in general, I have said previously I believe it is no better than a toss-up whether he will be playing in the same team as Gomis this season, and if we are now scratching around for Championship contenders those odds have now lengthened considerably |  |

Indeed. We had 4 strikers on the books last season if you include Michu (which is reasonable considering the amount of time he played up top).
Pointless getting caught up with the value and this specific player (it could be b0llocks), but it's not unreasonable to think we'll have at least 3 strikers in the first team squad. It's also not unreasonable to think we'll have to pay this sort of price for a backup striker if he's still under contract contract. |  | | |
