1. Less profile at the highest level.
2.No chance of an injury bolloxing him up for our season.
3.Gives him a rest.

I wouldn't say I was glad, but I agree with your points. Just to add that on a personal level, Bony has had a decent World Cup, and once the dust settles, he can come back fairly pleased with his own efforts. At least his confidence wont be in the bin. |  | | |
