Best day of my life... 21:59 - May 24 with 1181 viewsbaz_qpr

Said my 8 year at the end and all the way up to bed. He doesn't play football barely understand the game and has been to LR 5 times before. But is now for better or worse hooked for life.

Days like today are the memories that stay with us for ever and shape us I remember the 82 final (the 1st one) as a key memory of my childhood, being with my Dad etc.

Today even better as we won - Special shared moments

My lad is 9 and I swear my nephew who was also there was sobbing with joy. It just doesn't get any better than that today. I can honestly say that goal gave me the best feeling I have ever had in my life.

Started taking one of mine at 4, he's 9 now and has been to well over 100 games, got home and turned the sky plus on , at the start they showed fans on wembley way, my boy filled my 50" plasma, I was so proud. Even my 19 year old had tears in his eyes at the final whistle, never seen him like that before.

My two boys 12 and 11 said best day ever in the car on the way home and not in throwaway way - they were amazed at how it affected them. I am so happy......

My 12 year old son has sometimes questioned why we support QPR,as we all have over the years. But today answered it. There's no going back for him now,he's hooked.
