He wasn't right for a few games running up toward his surgery, so I'm hoping he comes back as good as ever. To see him firing with an in form Bony would be superb.

The one thing he doesn't do is to score long-range shots from outside the box - but now we've got Shelvey to do that. Bony plus Michu plus Shelvey - fantastic!
Wow - I'd almost forgotten just how good he was. £2m he was mind, £2m. That's all.
If this break is what it takes to get him back to his best and ML can find a way of playing him effectively with Wilf then the rest of the season should be great to watch.

So excited to get him back.
One thing his injury has probably done is decrease interest in him so hopefully he'll be around for another season.
That's a very good point you make regarding clubs looking to buy Michu. I suppose it's a small consolation for missing his genius through injury. And like you, I'm very excited by with the thought of his return to fitness.

JDG won't be sacrificed, he's Laudrups favourite. Probably Shelvey.
Yup.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Is it just me that feels that Bony started to hit form when Michu got injured?
We all noticed that the partnership wasn't working very well in their first matches together, but hopefully that will now have been sorted out on the training ground. If it has been, then wow!
I don't mind if Michu doesn't hit the same heigths as he did last season. Too large expectations doesn't help anyone.
Just a solid performance for the team will do fine for me. He had a good eye for passes and movement to pull defenders out of place, so even without assists or goals I will be happy for his return if he works for the team on the pitch as we know he can.
