Former loan player told he has a future at MK Dons

Former loan signing Jabo Ibehre has been told that he has a future at MK Dons by new manager Karl Robinson. Ibehre was allowed to leave Stadium: MK on loan twice during the 2009/10 season, and he of course spent a large chunk of the season on loan at Edgeley Park where he made a decent enough impression with the County faithful.

Jabo made 20 appearances and scored 5 goals for Stockport after joining on loan in January along with 3 other MK Dons team-mates (Danny Swailes, Ritchie Partridge and Jemal Johnson). Whilst his goal return was nothing spectacular, he did offer a lot of physical strength and showed commitment to the cause despite us being bottom of the League and having off the field problems which adhered him to the County faithful.

Jabo had struggled to start games at Stadium: MK under former manager Paul Ince, although he has been given a lifeline to continue his career with the club everyone loves to hate after new gaffer Karl Robinson confirmed that he was definitely in his plans for the season. Ibehre's last appearance in the Dons first team came during a League match with Charlton Athletic back in November, where he came on as a late substitute with the Dons already 5-1 down. Since that late appearance he spent a month on loan at Southend United and ended the season on loan at County.

The 27-year-old former Leyton Orient and Walsall player will be battling it out with Jermaine Easter, Sam Baldock and Aaron Wilbraham for a place in the starting line up as the Dons aim for promotion from League One.
