Ainsley Offered New Deal Friday, 25th Nov 2011 10:30 by TWTD.co.uk Blues boss Paul Jewell has revealed that defender Jack Ainsley has been offered a new contract taking him up to the end of the 2012/13 season. The 21-year-old, whose current terms were up at the end of the year, has made two starts for the Blues this season, the most recent in the 7-1 hammering at Peterborough. Jewell confirmed that the Felixstowe-based youngster had been offered an extension: “We’ve offered Jack a new contract until the end of the following season.” Meanwhile, midfielder Jamie Griffiths is set to meet with Jewell regarding his Town future, having recently returned from a two-month loan spell at Plymouth: “I’ve told Jamie I’ll have a chat with him. “He got sent off [in his final game for Plymouth] and they sent him back.
