FA Cup matches on the box to cure boredom Friday, 26th Nov 2010 10:06 The Hatters aren't in action this weekend following our elimination from the FA Cup at the hands of Peterborough United although there is live football on the box to keep us entertained as we await our next fix of live football. Three matches from the FA Cup second round proper are being shown live on the television this weekend, with the action kicking off on ESPN this evening. ESPN have selected the game between non-League big spenders Crawley Town and League One outfit Swindon Town as their first live match this weekend (kick off 19:45). On Saturday afternoon Blue Square Premier leaders AFC Wimbledon take on League Two side Stevenage at Kingsmeadow and that game is being shown live on ITV1 (kick off at 12:50). On Monday evening the second round action concludes as ESPN are showing the clash between Droylsdon and Leyton Orient (kick off 19:45). The draw for the FA Cup third round which will see the big boys enter is being shown live on ITV1 at 6pm on Sunday. Former Oasis man Noel Gallagher and Kasabian's Serge Pizzorno will be pulling the balls out of the hat at Wembley. County's interest in this season's FA Cup ended at the first stage hurdle, as we lost away at League One side Peterborough United in a replay. Both sides drew 1-1 at Edgeley Park although Gary Johnson's side progressed through to a second round clash against Bury after recording a 4-1 win in the replay at London Road.
