There is a reason why Guly is getting stick and thats because he isn't good enough. Yes he puts in effort when he wants... but not all time and thus... gets the well deserved stick. I haven't liked him for years so its not just this season... its just this season others have realised.
As for praising the manager... I'm ok with Adkins and hopes he does well but in all seriousness... How can you be pleased with outplaying a side, as we did against swansea, norwich and arsenal all at home when, we need points at home... letting them have 1 attempt on goal and not be angry that we're not taking away the maximum points. A small club syndrone against arsenal if your happy with a point against them as they really didn't threaten... yet just positives coming out every week. Change the record surely... we aren't learning by our mistakes cos we are doing the same each game.
QPR won last night... if that was us, we'd have conceeded late on and manager would have come out and said, well we did well and its a positive. Wins are needed... 3 points out of 12... Many winning positions squandered... I hope we don't regret them at end of season... |

100% agree with everything you write! Fonte didnt have a great season and his running out of defence in the last game of season was probably his highlight. Unfortunately I think he'll be backup for a solid premiership centre half thats been there and done it before. Martin n seabourne in the defence are not challenging Jos or Fonte for me... Kelvin also needs competition - another article perhaps but just saying as bart really isn't challenging him for his shirt. |

Completely agree with SaintsHub. We're top of the league.. so we've not done brilliantly for a few games but we've still generated more points than anybody else. January come at the right time - signings needed and will come in.
Critising Adkins - can't understand that! Play some good stuff and top of the pile where at beginning of the season nobody, not even the most biased saints fan would have predicted us to be!

Why Mackail-Smith ?? He's unproven in this division and unless I am mistaken has really only florished this season. Barnard has goals in him and question mark is over Lambert but pretty sure he will do well. Forte is soo quick he's more of a winger in my eyes... His appearances next season will depend on AOC hopefully staying put. COME ON YOU REDS! |

Jaidi is not a championship player, he stuggled in league one and has no first touch! Have you seen him pass the ball.... comedy everytime! Good for experience though... and in adkins we trust :)
Would love to see Andrew Davies back... Think him and Fonte could form quite a good partnership. |

Kelvin will be number one next season, pretty sure tbh. Forecast, what a shocing player and a waste of valuably Bale income but then... we were in a situation but never should have been soo stupid to take exactly what spurs offered. Just get paid for doing absolutely nothing all week... nice but has got to be a tad depressing! |
