Swansea City : Ronald is a cheat !
at 17:01 26 Nov 2024

I remember the brutal racist slurs of two Welsh boxers who went up there to fight.

Lee Selby and Liam Williams. It was so crass that YouTube had to censor it. Selby lost to Warrington and Williams flattened Hefron.

Swansea City put forward a project plan to play in the Welsh cup (part 2)
at 16:01 26 Nov 2024

They will be quite happy. Swansea or other clubs have other distractions from the league hella then out.

I do not think Eufa will approve it. They dragged the FAW to form a league while the " exiles" objected to join. Bangor Rhyl Colwyn Bay, Barry Merthyr etc.

Losing qualification for Europe in the English system means not a lot.

Maths for me not the Yankee math. The Trust get clout from cash to be invested or good friendly relations. The Trust 2015 -2018 are responsible for some really bad calls.

Swansea City & Jason Levien : The crucial omissions
at 12:28 26 Nov 2024

The Trust are taken too seriously. Their specialisation is £590 murals and gates. They have created a stink but I am struggling to see any upside in their presence.

So did they want to sell or not. A Yes or No.

They stated " they would consider selling"..

If I came to your house to look at your car and you told me that I would say "do not waste your time with this lot".

My understanding is sound. I understand selling anything is difficult and at the very least needs a willing seller and a willing buyer. There was no willing seller.

It is incredible they could not a cut a deal rapidly in four months s of talks at £1m per 1%. If I was a member I would be hoping mad and not at the buyer. The Trust members are weak.

Bianchini and Vipotnik are improving and must be given room and time in the pitch to develop. Abdullai needs to play box to box mobile midfielder. Parker and Govea used as subs injecting pace. Ginnelly is on of the few that lets fly from distance.

The Swedish attacking midfielder can slot in and Ollie Cooper is due back shortly after his Wales heroics.

Cooper sacked (n/t)
at 23:04 25 Nov 2024

Sadly both Ayew brother have a reputation for choking in the big games for Ghana. Andre on huge money missed a penalty v Brentford before scoring in the game the Brentford player was sent off.

The spectre of crass media bias was there for all to see after pundits from old London town claimed the full back with a long run up lunge put both the ball and Connor Roberts into the stand and was harshly treated. Cooper did not go for the throat v 10 men. 1-0 up.

From Yahoo sports

" The Spanish manager is considering recalling Alphonse Areola to the starting line-up after he missed the last three games due to injury.

While Areola enjoyed a decent spell last season, his performances have been far from impressive this term.

The Frenchman has been a major contributor to West Ham’s defensive woes, with his error-prone displays and poor decision-making costing the team dearly. "

Davies and Allen came from the CoE not the class 1 academy. It cost a massive £5m a year I read, and that was out of a total income of around £ 20-25m perhaps. It simple was not possible to keep.

Tne Patti pavilion was great work. I gave £5 myself for the Leon Britton appeal. Sadly the Trust became arrogant and behaving like a trade union not owners. The "old team" had aged got stale and needed to move on. Huw Jenkins warned everyone that things had to change. The Trust dug their feet in and probably became a headache for the other owners who wanted to pick the fruit of the tree they planted and cultivated.

The Trust should have understood these sentiment but did not. Their model is designed for stagnation and shrinkage unless the Americans can deliver growth.

It needs to convert to a new model with growth the objective. Jenkins and co gave them a staggering 10,000% growth but the fans call them sellouts. The sellouts were the members who asleep at the wheel when decisions needed to be made.

This project is dangerous but not as dangerous as Team GB . Both need to be binned including the women's s team.

Swansea will end up playing kids in the League cup which is the only major trophy the club has one. Even now Williams was playing the stiffs. Even Njoe an On got a kick.

The club have changed from being a local Welsh club owned by small fry ( with respect) owners and 21% by the formerly troublesome Trust to 80% owners by serious money men and 5% by a less troublesome Trust. Perhaps he is meaning this?

Sacking Guidolin was more influential. He was calm and experienced and ideal for Swansea subject to being fully healthy. Roo good to be sacked and too old to be poached. It was him who pushed for Llorente. He knew how to work upwards and influence the Boardroom. The Clement transfer fiasco would not have happened with him on charge. For the £16m Swansea paid for Clucas he could have attracted internationals.

I am very sad at the way Abdullai has been treated. He is a class above Cullen and Cooper in my opinion ghavinfg seen his exceptional performances for the u21. Ten times or so I saw him and he was excellent every time.

Levien had very kind words for the club and city. He was not a very successful owner I'm terms of maintaining PL status. It is not easy actually.

Welsh investment directly into the club £1m US investment £50m plus. The idea that Swansea could stay in the PL with the turnover of manager is for the fairies .

The club lost momentum and it is very difficult to get it back.

Football fans had their own ownership group and even according to them it is pretty useless. It is useless because it needs strong independent leadership which did NOT listen the fans. The fans are not competent enough to be in boardroom.

They won the £22m lottery and did not even try to find the ticket.

When will Russell Martin learn
at 10:57 25 Nov 2024

He lost his mojo at Swansea after he did not get his way. It showed in results. . It took him several months to shape up ( he admitted this) and a visit from Kaplan

He then left and some suspect he tipped off,SFC about the compensation terms of his contract.. His appointment was due to be signed but was postponed week or two.

He then encouraged a dispute over his departure. His new club had collected £180m in transfer fees. He projected himself as a humble green warrior but has succumbed to the bright lights.

Swansea City : Those errors continue in a right old thriller
at 10:48 25 Nov 2024

Swansea gave the ball cheaply in midfield and this cost goals . Grimes and Peart Harris the chief culprits. When that happens a cynical team will take a booking and prevent Dan James ripping your defence apart.

Was Ken Gude in Swansea working on the buyout?
at 10:45 25 Nov 2024

I give opinions. I do not care if people take them seriously or not. I give new ideas and thinking. People do not like it especially people like yourself who wish to dominate the narrative with a core of a handful of regulars.

Debate is healthy. On inferior forums they all agree with each other and they are as dull as chips

at 10:19 25 Nov 2024

He is a skilled close friend of Coleman. I use logic. Coleman comes in and arranges a management buyout in effect with 3-4 new investors. Gude was working on something but no one knew what exactly.

Hi say it was probably the management but out and new investors. The forum sages on here reported he was having a good time on the golf course. £20m new money has arrived. Some people just have no respect and never will.

These are the sort of people that say Huw Jenkins. "got lucky". ( for 14 seasons).

The say these things uncontested in the main on other inferior forums. Posters tow the party line.
