Sealy was OK especially 82-83, though I have to say his miss against Barnsley... December 1981 was something to behold...........still we won 1-0 evetually n it was pretty much the only game on in London
I actually think the absolute opposite. After all those years of working the markets for huge Corporates, in the DOF role he will have a grasp of discipline and overreach that very few other candidates would have. I actually think from looking at his skillset he would be a better DOF than manager. I think that would be his absolute forte.
I know he's fallen out with the hierarchy as a manager, but that's totally understandable as he has the awareness to see where they are going wrong. At the level above, especially given the free reign that Noury** is given he can implement the policies that he could see were sadly lacking previously. Sink or Swim, and to my mind he would swim.
