| Forum Thread | Finding a way... at 01:03 22 Jan 2025
If there is one thing Marti has done since he came here, that thing is finding a way to win irrespective of who is available to selection. And he's managed to do it, whilst seemingly creating amazing team spirit. We don't have the best squad in the league, but we have a set of players playing for each other and the manager on matter how many minutes they get, fully buying into his system. This has also meant we don't really have key players like we used to. Chair, Cook, JCS would have been undropable before, now if they don't start if injured or not selected, there is no panic. Dunne is arguably our hardest player to replace right now in terms of what he offers that others can't. Brilliant stuff. |

Maybe, but you could say the same about Morgan, and we all know how he is doing so far. Granted Ashby knows he can go back to Newcastle and have another go somewhere else, whereas a bit last chance saloon for Morgan. |

What we have seen since Marti came in, are players improving over ime. Look at Frey and Varanne for examples, or even the most improved / new position ie Dunne. Is he there now? no. Could he be? Maybe. If Marti sees something in him, that's enough for me. I'm not writing him off yet. |

Fantastic. He is so good at that little dink past defenders, but what a finish! |

Great change by Marti. Chair and Kolli were not contributing for whatever reason, what a difference it made when they came on. A risk in some ways to bring on Lloyd instead of Frey, but I guess he thought his pace might work and it did, great hold up play as well. Saito has got much more physical and adapted to the game since he started, been really good when playing lately. Great to see! [Post edited 21 Jan 22:08]

I think we asked and they said no. |

Madsen will really have to step up the effort and impact on game - could define his time with us as if anonymous hard to seeing him playing much unless we have injuries. Still a reasonably strong team - anything could happen! Pleased for Saito, think he has been good lately. [Post edited 11 Jan 13:17]

I'm not sure top 6. Adel, as much as I loved him, is nowhere near that. I mean Maradona, Zidane, Messi, Ronaldo would have to be up there. The you have defensive players Maldini, Buffon etc and loads I have forgotten. So great player, but top 6, I doubt it. |

I know the feeling. Got the kids season tickets for the first time this season, and of course no wins. Then we win the two games we couldn't make! Thankfully one came along yesterday and loved it, the other one may have lost the will to attend....but we will be trying again with both of them for Watford as well. |

Would love to know how far he ran today, seemed to be everywhere, and despite all that running always keen when possible to drive forward. Feels like a real gem in the making. |

Absolutely this - in a game of highlights this was right up there, we were Loft Lower and everyone was laughing, first drinking it then emptying it, then him getting up looking for it and the chants of 'Where's your water gone'. Brilliant. |

So pleased for him. Must be a huge weight off,. let's hope this gets him going. I still think there is a player there. |

I seem to remember a game at home to Leeds when he had loads of one on ones due to his incredible pace, with followed by shots still orbiting the earth. |

I like him and think it's good but thought the same yesterday, some shots should be pushed out wide. It's definitely something to work on, but overall a great signing. It's like the defender who does an amazing last ditch tackle Vs the defender whose positioning was better but gets less credit for it. |

I'm hopeful for him, I think he can make it personally. I hope he does well at Orient, which means he gets a chance with us or we sell him to Portsmouth for £20m. |

Season tickets released now for anyone waiting . Managed to get our ST seats. |

Really? Looks the same to me when I log on...as in still all season tickets help back - mine still says reserved. |
| Forum Reply | Palace game at 11:26 7 Sep 2024
Thanks, got both kids in the network and can normally get tickets that way, but I think becuase they are reserved can only buy them under each account, though never logged in under their 'accounts' as just bought them together, though they each needed an emnail address. Contacting the box office probably the best as you say -thanks. We have 4 and only need 3, and of course it's one of the middle ones who can't go, so porobably need to move one anyway. The good news for anyone wanting tickets is that it looks like season tickets remain locked, so plenty should be free at some point in the next few days. |

For those with kids with saeason tickets, how do buy your kids season tickets? I can see my ticket is still reserved but I can't see anywhere I can buy my son's ticket (he's 10 so doesn't in reality have an account he logs into etc. Is there a simple way I can just buy both? |
