To protect the more sensitive among us how about we all agree to nothing post Agincourt? Ashby was about as useful out wide as the French Archers at Agincourt. Stay Marti, please. [Post edited 26 Apr 7:51]

Twist. 100%. No point expecting a better season than battling relegation/ending up 16th if we are giving out new contracts to players who have performed like Fox. Let's at least try to improve. Thanks for your efforts, no hard feelings, firm handshake, good luck and all that. |

Agree with the Madsen position switch. Looked wrong from the off. Don't forget Kolli is only 19, Eze and Chair hadn't even gone on loan yet at his age. Plus this is not an easy team to come into as an attacking player and look fluid. |

Yeah, I wasn't very optimistic when I saw the team sheet. And all this having different players starting in different positions all the time hardly helps our, already poor, patterns of play. (I appreciate the part injuries play in this but still). Swansea looked like a team who knew where someone was going to be to receive a ball and where they might move to. We just look so lost too often. Why wasn't Dembele starting? I was baffled from the off. Needs minutes, clear quality and what about using now to see if he can develop some understanding with Kolli, Madsen and others who will be here this year. [Post edited 21 Apr 17:28]

It was the only way he was going to score. He wanted absolutely no business getting on the end of a cross today. |

Fantastic. Great to see the change of shape transform the game. Well done Marti and the lads. |

Mmmm, Kolli definitely looking a bit shop window there, never a shot on with about 4 defenders in front of him and teammates available in better positions. I hope he's not looking to go as he has clear quality. [Post edited 18 Apr 16:52]

Genius. Got out of bed just to go and read it to Mrs 1BH who doesn't give a f**k about football. She loved it! Although it did lead her to ask with raised eyebrow, "but you're still planning to watch it this afternoon?!" "Yes, yes I am dear" |

I know he never gets mentioned on LFW but Eze is a big one for me. Not just losing a sublime player who we developed but also just the realisation that in the modern football world we could never get to have really nice things for long. It should have been us enjoying him for all these years, not fkin Palace. Being able to keep players like him is the best reason for wanting to go up to the Premcesspit. |

Lovely pass from Dembele too. To see it, time it and weight it so perfectly was the sort of quality we are desperate for. Really hope we can create a system that gets him the ball in the right areas and situations. Plus players he can interact with. Remember how with Chair and Willock the Whole was much greater than the sum of both parts? Always better with the other one nearby to work/create with. Hope Dembele can develop that with one or two others next season. Am I right in remembering Clive saying that we have only completed seven through balls all season?! Well, that's eight now and two of then have been perfect assists from Dembele. Good lad |

I still can't stretch to the idea that we were just a Dunne and Field away from overturning a minus 4 goal deficit against a Premier League team. If I remember rightly some posters were complaining we were playing a weakened defence because Ronnie was starting!! |

Agree on both points. Nardi is fine playing shortish on the deck but his longer passes are very inconsistent. Well done and thank you Clive for just getting it out there and still making it entertaining. Motivation can't have been easy, genuinely wouldn't have blamed you for just not bothering. Soccer Aid and Olly Murs made me lol in a very inappropriate environment! |
