If it's not Hilly, then Knill seems the next obvious choice. Gannon's track record since Stockport doesn't hold up, so hopefully he doesn't figure.
Dave Bayliss is contracted to Barrow and hasn't exactly got them charging up the Conference, but you hear anecdotal evidence that he is well regarded as a coach. A possibility.
Someone like Pemberton is still always a shout too.

I'd say that'd be a step down for him. They're top of the conference, likely to be in the same league as us next year, getting bigger crowds than us and are more than likely to be working on a larger budget than ours. He'd have to be mad to take our job at this point. | |
